This game is REALLY awesome! Wish i had it on mobile too.
For this price and fun it gives is a crime not to have fun with it!
Everything works execatelly how you would except, and funny enough this is the ONLY game i found so far that actually feels like playing that FF8 minigame, and I was activelly looking for a standalone game like that, but all other attempts missed the point.
This game is 100% THAT. It has a capture mechanic, to build up your deck. Shops where you can fall back if everything goes to shit. Why? Cuz guess what, if you lose the AI WILL take your card :D you can actually lose all your card and need to use the shop to get a new starting deck and go back at it from the beginnning.
Not just that, but the AI will actually use the cards it stole from you and use it against you in the next fight! AND YOU CAN STEAL IT BACK AGAIN :D. You can even farm some of them if you got a perfect counter for some cards that you want more of. (each one has a signiture card)
There are SO many cards, and to figure out the current boss tactics, prep cards taken from others.
AI also VERY competent and usually has better stuff then you, so you are always on the backfoot, but your human ingeniouty can overcome it. (for example bait out moves to do double take overs, which is "standard" tactics for this type of game). And it ruthlessly exploit if you F-up. Im planing to play a lot more too! This is execatelly what I needed after FF8!
