*Patch required to get full experience. Please check publisher website for details* Radiant Princess - Poni Ceres is a fun HRPG with a heavy emphasis on exploring. For those familiar with Dragon Quest, this game feels like the mini medal and seed system cranked up a notch. The maps in the game are filled with stat boosting items and special collectibles that grant battle perks. Most of the items are found via secret passages with clear hints. The player can avoid these collectibles and still enjoy the game. The battles feel balanced with the collectible stat boosts in mind though. As for the explicit content, the game is almost entirely based on scenarios that end with game overs. As in, your player character will be reloading a save after experiencing most scenes. Players looking to see how these scenes have long term affect on the character will be disappointed. However, the scenes do cover a good amount of interests and the art is great. Yui, the female main character, is stunning in both her everyday and hero outfits. Secondary character Karen also is a highlight of the game, if deserving of more screen time. The two male leads are flat as can be, though. Unfortunately, the game does not give the males enough development for their character arcs to feel impactful. I know that's par for the course for HRPGs, but one ending in particular fell flat due to this. Still, Radiant Princes - Poni Ceres is a fun time for RPG fans and those who wish to see despair in heroines who lose battles.

There is too much frustrating about this game to make the good parts of it overcome that frustration.

A great H-JRPG which heavily focused on exploration and provide a decent combat challenge. Lewd scenes are mostly boss defeat scenes but you can unlock all the scenes even if you go for pure run. Also, kinda different from other magical girl games where the heroine can get both lewd and violent ends. Overall, it's a great JRPG on itself and the arts and lewd scenes are pretty good. Probably not for everyone, but if you want to play a good JRPG with H flavor, this is it.
Needs a...
(see publisher) Game Is: Chapter-based magical-girl turn-based RPG with a focus on exploring a densely packed town.

[+] The “scenes” are pretty good with nice distinctive art, but so far they seems to mostly be non-canon and just boot you to the title screen afterwards. [+] The town exploration is actually surprisingly good, there are a lot of very well hidden nooks and crannies in the town that lead to special areas and events. [-] The combat is just the default RPG-Maker system. Also the BGM is weirdly loud, recommend cranking that down a bit.

Summary: The “scenes” are good but so far most aren't actually integrated in the story, while the exploration is a surprising standout with a lot of secrets for the observant. Tip: F4 to toggle fullscreen.

This is a true game with a plot, and plenty of exploring to build your character up for the boss battles. The adult situations just give it that little extra entertainment.

The good: Map exploration, engaging combat difficulty, writing quality, good and creative sex scenes, voice acting, art quality. The not so good: Uninspiring corruption system, too focused on defeat sex scenes. It is inevitable to compare this game as an inferior version than Magical Girl Celesphonia. Nevertheless, I do recommend this game, it has above average quality, fun, and offer an engaging gameplay and story. The corruption system is uninspired, practically non existent at 95% of the game, it is only used to access a specific job. The corruption scenes are sometimes repeatable but lacks progression and variety with the corruption level.

Hi all, I love the Artework, I love the Music and much more so I bought it and was happy. Great story, fun to explore the world jumping and dark hallways in search of items, coins or codes.^^ You can make a sweet teenage love blossom or start with the patch... have fun with other things. Very detailed, a bit difficult to achieve at the beginning but I think that's an extra good point and the lady is voiced ! I think music is great, really great! Yes and reminds me of Magical Lyria only better ! There are different Outfits too and poor Polka (a robot sniff so cute). If you play with a German keyboard with X like I do, you delete the letters, because, yes you can give your beloved friend a name hahaha. Normal mode is not as easy as you think, so I always explore first and then I do the chapter... well.. uhm I died in a hiding place where the guys were suddenly 3 LVL above me and my inventory was... um, let's say as always, not really filled. Greetings a big Fan

Much more RPG w/ HRPG elements then HRPG. If you're here looking for an RPG there's way better ones out there. If you're looking for an HRPG, there's way better ones out there. This game fits exactly zero roles. It's not even that great an rpg maker rpg.

It's hard to explain why I played this game as much as I did. Hope that it'd get better, I suppose? It's got the makings of something great. The art is quite nice. The characters are mostly there. I love Yui's very anime expressions + how the screen changes color when she's mad. Those are good touches. But the bad touches are... most of the actual lewd content. Like, I know *at some point*, Yui will be able to engage in a lewd scene outside of battles that's her own choosing. I'm 12 hours in though, and the only scenes that weren't cruel defeat scenes were getting groped on a train and getting banged by a homeless dude. 12 hours in. 12 hours. I'm not even avoiding it. It's just not present. All of the scenes in this game are over-the-top cruel. We're talking ultraviolence. Blood, electrocution, pulverizing her to smithereens. Oh, the NTR route was ok. That was one instance where you could fathomably find the content hot. There are just... much much better games out there in this general genre. The combat is *difficult* too, and you'd think that'd be a good thing, but it's not because it's also boring. It's all just a giant WTF did I just do with my time. And yet, and yet I still feel *compelled* to beat it for some reason. I'm so dumb. This is doing nothing for me. Update: played another 6 hours, and my frustrations haven't ceased. After an hour, I unlocked a single bunny girl job, then the cops busted the place up. Fine, I thought. It'll reopen in another chapter. Nope. It apparently doesn't ever reopen. All that's in store is more rape scenes. There's so much polish to this game, but it's in service of the worst ideas. Biggest waste of talent I've seen in a Kagura-translated title.

Bought and finished the game from kagura, bought it again here to support and add review, I've no idea how this got mixed. This is among the best of eroge RPGs, up there with magical girl celesponia and similar. Multiple towns, each with their own optional side quests and tons of exploration with meaningful rewards, that makes the main quest easier (and in some cases pretty much compulsory). Different ways to approach combat rather than just being railroaded into an optimal build, The side dungeons are fully fleshed out and honestly interesting to explore, with their own interesting side narratives. Artwork is beautiful in both the animated figures and the rpg map. Tons of effort have been invested into this and it shows, this is not just some money-printing rpgmaker crap. If you like jrpg with interesting stories, good artwork, diversity of reasonable fetishes, open-world exploration mechanics, rpgmaker-style combat, this should be good. It's not a VN, obviously, or a 2-hour speedrun. Similar games are MGC, ambriosia, treasure hunter claire, detective girl steam city, that genre essentially. A few tips, save before main boss fights and research what to do for each boss (they have their own insta-kill decisions that you need to remember, or things you need to do in the map before the fight). And, remember to go buy new equiment from the 3-person shop, the drops do not give enough of that and you'll find combat being surprisingly grindy if you don't buy your equipment (earrings boost soul which boost magic atks, gem+accessory boost atk which boost atk/tp skills, etc).
