Okay, so I post this negative review as feedback, because, as-is, there are serious shortcomings that mean I would objectively recommend people away from this game, but I'd like it to be otherwise. Here's how I'd change my view to positive. (1) This is a grindy game. As I've noted in forum feedback, the cardinal sin of grindy games is time-waste. If I'm going to need to do stuff over and over in your game, don't make me sit through "cinematic" screen transitions and such. Reduce time-waste to the absolute minimum for loading the next game segment. Get rid of this stuff, pronto. It can come off as disrespectful of your players' time. An option would be to either (a) have the cinematic transitions but allow click to skip them, or (b) allow them to be disabled in options. But as-is, it makes the game *fatiguing* to play and I lose desire to do so. If that wasn't there, I'd pick it up again and try it further. (2) Pause doesn't work half the time. Improve handling of pause so we're not sitting here pressing pause 3 or 4 (or more) times to try to get it to work, then accidentally unpausing again. Overall UI responsiveness in general needs to be improved, very badly -- this is a killer of your game if you don't address it. You'll need to give this a very intensive working over on UI ergonomics and responsiveness. (3) EMERGENCY: Fix that inescapable tutorial prompt on the crafting screen immediately. To have to alt-F4 to escape a broken tutorial prompt in your game is the equivalent of a loud fart on a first date. Don't let anyone experience this and then notice that it's already been reported a while ago in the bug report forums. (4) The typos and grammatical errors are really distracting. If you're going to have a game where text plays a significant part, you just can't have that. Clean this stuff up. It comes off as low-effort, particularly because it's otherwise so easy to fix. (If you're ESL, cool, use Deepseek, give it context, and it will make sure everything is clean and not awkward.) (5) Being frank: a big feature of your game is the art and character design. Cool. But for a character-design-heavy game, we want to see faces, not lumpy helmets. Redo some of the weird/unappealing ones, like the first paladin available at the start, and give us an opportunity to see that great art style of yours in yet another great-looking face. Here's another instance of something where you're forgoing an opportunity to show off one of the strong points of your game. Rooting for you -- address these things and this will change to an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
