This feels half-finished. The controls are rough as hell, and YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR KEY BINDINGS. I feel like this could be an excellent game with some care and polish, but as it is this is not worth more than, say, $2.00 USD. Reviewed on v1.03. I do like the abacus cash register, though. That's very nice.

Fun quirky game that has an addictive gameplay loop. You sell stuff that you buy from a merchant higher at your store, and as you gain more experience you unlock more and more recipes. I like the game, but I wish that it was a little deeper. The recipes are written down foryou and you must follow them to the letter, so no experimentation or anything like that. To supplement your shop, you also get orders of either get them the items you are selling, or brewing a specific potion. All and all charming game, watching the effects happen to the customers who drink it is funny at times, but like I said, I wish there was more depths to the game overall. Orders seems to be hand-written rather than procedural, so there is a limit likely at some point (though there seems to be a LOT of orders) and when there are no more orders, I don't see an incentive to keep playing. Decorations for the shop would be nice too.

One of my favorite games at the moment! Very relaxing and fun to play. I love that you can play this game at your own pace

I'm not enjoying the game so far because the game made the currency feel worthless with the ridiculous profit margin. The tutorial potion costs 80 gold of plants (for 2) and sells for 1000 gold (for 2). Why would I ever need to level up / learn more potions when the tutorial potion is so lucrative? Why bother with the quest potions on the board when I can just make 20x tutorial potion in my garden and get 10-20k profit? It doesn't feel like this game was thought through, or maybe the difficulty was scaled to be for children? Or maybe they want to give you everything real quick before you get bored of the game. I'd rather have a game that lasts!

The only way I could recommend this game to others, is if they are a small child learning basic math. Otherwise, it's so boring, once you complete the first 2 days, the rest of the game is just a repetitive cycle that doesnt stray in the slightest. I have a thing with achievements, so since I've started the game I need to get all the achievements, but holy heck I wish I never started this game. I might need a stiff drink or two to get through it. Looking at the reviews for the game, a lot of them are thumbs up reviews, but they still complain about how boring / blah the game is within their positive review. Wish I had read the reviews instead of going off of the "very positive" review status. Ya live and ya learn.

5/10 for me. It's very cute, the mechanics are really nice but oh boy. It's like the game is built backwards. The helpful fast potion making is the last receipe you can unlock. If you unlock the skill tree logically. Apparently could have done it around level 12 instead of 31 but okay. The watering absolutely kills the game. It is sooooo grindy to babysit the plants all effing day and night. When you at level 8 gardening finally unlock sprinklers (magically summoned cloud) it is broken. Small pots are fine, one or two plants in medium pots get watered automatically. And with big pots maaan... It's 50/50 whether the sprinklers spawn or not. It's not dependent on the type of plant, because sometimes 4 gets watered and 6 do not. It feels unfinished. The garden gets soooooo big, and placing pots is a p-i-t-a. Walking back and forward with one tiny pot, and then to the fireplace to burn the boxes. And crates. And burn burn burn. Tiring. Especially since magic is happening with the sprinklers as well as dropping the watering can, it magics its way back to the table. The canyon or what ever the house is in looks vast, but it's actually a teeny tiny area you can use and the edges basically have transparent walls. It is absolutely amazingly cozy, but like I said, feels unfinished.
