This would have been a good game... for the nintendo 3ds, seriously. this is very low effort considering the fact every model and texture looks very detailed. The combat is slow and janky, enemies are sponges and take button mashing to beat on of them, the finishers are limited and repetitive, kick-ass kills his enemies in most finishers, oh yeah theres barely any unique finishers, there are like 4 or 5 in total, and they are all long and drawn out. the game tries too much to try and be like an arkham game, there's no multiplayer, you can't play as hit-girl as a side-story if you finish the game, and the bosses are all the same. The voice acting is abysmal, none of the actors reprised their roles, and so, incomes the low effort voice acting, all the VA's barely sound like their counterpart, kick-ass sounds mexican, hit-girl sounds too old. oh yeah and the story is messed up completely. barely follows the movie besides the bosses in order. Hit-Girl is apparently an adult in this game and not a 15 year old, the enemies are redundant and not special, there is no new types of enemies besides big guys, the disarming feature only works when it tells you it will, so you can't disarm a enemy with a firearm when you get to the group of enemies, you have to beat them up first, the powerups in the game are horrible, there's a electro charge power up that gives you either attack damage, or less taken damage, i don't know, the 2nd is AOE electric shock attack which does shitty damage. oh yeah you can just run past all enemy groups in the game, nothing stops you from doing so. the art in the cutscenes of the game half of the time look traced from real people. while it isn't bad from a standard point of view, some shots look very very bad. the developers of this game still put it on sale! even to this day, so that means they can put it on sale, why don't they do bug fixes or something? the trademark obviously hasn't gone away as it's being sold here still. their just lazy I suppose.
if you want a kick-ass game that's good, well your out of luck, if you wanna play this, i hope you sleep well tonight.
