I want to say recommended but cannot.. I don't see myself finishing this game. #ragebait Maybe SPOILERS?: The final battle is continuously destroying me :( I had no issues progressing through the game on normal difficulty until the (I think) final boss.. This was prior to any patches. I always try to do my first run through without spoilers or guides. The final battle, ingredients and "complex" potion crafting is really harshing my mellow. It feels like an unrewarding process just meant to rage bait. I wasted so many ingredients with each attempt. After attempting 8 more times I decided to look at how other people completed it... SPOILER: I was so disappointed to find most people had an easy time because they found some way to cheese and stack potions, no real logic just spam speed pots and pray. Made me sad it was better to cheese and risk it little, than use high quality end game potions.

I'm having so much fun. I like that combat difficulty is separate from alchemy difficulty. I appreciate the devs put in a separate slider for the 'dialog' as I'm not a fan of sort of 'gibberish' or 'squiggle sounds' in place of voices. And I am not in any way saying anything bad about using it. We learned ages ago with Banjo Kazooie that a 'gibberish' language saves on needing to voice in multiple languages. The art is cute, the game runs great and the music is fun. I'm really having a good time. I don't know if the demo is still around but that is how I first came into the game.
