Vol. Two looks you dead in the eyes as it turns the dials on yuri and naked women from 2 to 11. Everything I loved about the first game done bigger and bolder (and hornier).
I can't stop thinking about Hedwig & Angela, they might be rotating in my mind forever, I need to understand what's wrong with them.
I care deeply about this group of weirdos and I'm rooting for as many as possible to make it out the other side.
I cannot wait for Vol. Three, a friend of mine played this 6 months ago and has not stopped talking about it since, I completely understand and will now be joining her in proselytizing.
In short I am overdosing on yuri cocaine, if you want to too then play this game.

This is still not a game. I still don't understand why this is not a novel. This should be a novel. If it was a novel i would be recommending this to all my friends and family as it's an excellent mystery. You know what i can't recommend to my friends and family? A videogame that isn't a game. No one i know would everrrrrrrrr buy this. So many people will miss out on this masterful work, because almost no one is ever going to play a visual novel that is just text you read.
I still think the game is also real ugly. The character designs of the nuns are fun, but the black and white art style and the realistic backgrounds just looks like garbage. Again…I have no clue what this isn’t a book. The visual aspects are off putting and there is no game part. However, as I’ve already said, these characters and this story are so far fantastic. I dislike strongly that this is a three volume game. This should be treated as an early access game, not three different games. This is one game. I would have much preferred paying $20-$30 for one game.
The only reason I’m even recommending this game is the story which I consider to so far be excellent. The amount of sex and nudity in part II…was quite surprising. Especially considering how low key part I was. I know the game warns you at the start…but geez they were not kidding. I think it adds quite a lot to the game. Although, I found it even more frustrating that this is not a game and I could not decide what characters Hedgwig formed a relationship with. Hedgwig…sure seems to make surprising relationship choices.
I am also utterly confused what the heck is going on with the future time jump. It’s close to nonsensical how the future components relate to the present. My biggest concern with the story at the moment though is that the resolution of the murder mystery…might be very unsatisfying.
I’ll put my thoughts in spoilers
So, after Volume two I’m very confused what is going on here. From volume one we know that someone has been stashed here. That the bishop is centrally involved. So the bishop in the end betraying the Superior and murdering her to stop her investigation and attempting to kill Hedgwig is not surprising. Although, the cruelty of the bishop doing this when he seemed to generally care for the Superior…and was clearly having sex with her for years is sickening. What I’m utterly confused about is who is this person that is hiding at the Abbey. It sure seems to be Richard III…which is very confusing. I don’t understand why he would need to be hiding here. If anything I would expect it to be an agent of Richard III that would be sent here after theoretically poisoning Edward IV. The game also seems to allude to the fact that the sherry the sisters are making might be part of a plot to poison either Edward IV or Richard III. The most obvious solution to who killed Catherine is whoever is hiding out at the abbey and the reason being she realized either (1) someone was hiding at the abbey that was evil or (2) she was originally in on the plan and then disagreed and had to be removed. The other question is which sisters were in on this. I think that’s the biggest problem with this mystery at this stage. It would be easy for this story to reveal multiple sisters are in on the plan and were responsible for Catherine’s death, but that solution would basically make things unsolvable. It’s also difficult as Hedgwig is an extremely unreliable narrator. For one…I’m convinced the only reason she is blaming Eustace is because Eustace revealed she knows Hedgwigs secret. Hedgwig clearly knows what this secret is and has decided she would literally rather kill Eustace then have it get out. It’s very hard to sympathize with Hedgwig when she condemns Angela for wanting to get rid of Katherine when Hedgwig for similar reasons wishes to kill Eustace. I would say there are multiple mystery’s going on here, but the one thing that I have complete faith in is that there are no insane supernatural things going on.
This is a “game” that is easily worth the price…that no one is ever going to see because the vast majority of people will never be convinced to play a kinetic visual novel. It should also be one game and not sold in three chapters #Worth $30 (for all three games)

Non-binary people all have a hidden gene where they can't make bad games, its really tragic to witness

Continuation of the masterpiece with much more overt lesbianism. Will probably be waiting a couple years for the game to be finished with vol 3

A superb sequel that ratchets the tension and intrigue. It really gives you time to hone in on the personal relationships between the characters that is by far the most engaging writing in this series! Highly recommend and cannot wait for vol 3, the twists and turns are so very juicy to chew on

Fantastic all around, I had never got much into visual novels before this but the art, sound and pacing are really integral to the story and well-executed.
It definitely launches strongly from Volume 1's relatively easy pace and strong character building in a way that works wonders, I played both back-to-back and would probably recommend it that way.

At my age and exposure to literature, t's really hard to call something a masterwork, but this comes as close as I'm willing to put a work of fiction these days. I'm honestly pretty astounded that one person did the bulk of this game, it's so complete and sophisticated. The art is solid, the music completely engaging and fitting to the mood, the story had me glued in place for 36 hours of my vacation. When I took breaks, I rifled through plot points and character interactions, turning everything I'd learned in my head around and around, seeing how it all fit together. Easily the best mystery I've come across in years.
