Best Adventure Game I've played in five years. The story line is clear and integral to the game. The number of scenes is extensive and well done. Characters are great - evil villains act and look evil; the good guys and gals could all wear white hats. Best of all though, the mini games are unique. Not the same old stuff we’ve seen a dozen times before. I mean really unique and range from simple to difficult. I didn’t want to skip any. In addition, the results of the mini games are cleverly woven into the story line. If you think I liked this game and highly recommend it, you’re right.
The big negative I have about the game, however, and recommendation to the developer, is the lack of a map. This is sorely needed and missing. You have to move about several scenes back in many cases to use that item you've just collected, and can only do it by clicking and clicking, This is annoying particularly given the number of scenes involved in each chapter, and do I remember how to get back there. Three small nits: 1) the "help" narratives below the mini games are often unclear and confusing, though maybe this was intended. 2) the strategy guide included is worthless, as I most often looked to it for help with the mini games and all it showed was the game as started with no solution, and 3) the bonus game ending was a bit weak. Almost like they ran out of development time or $ and just stopped. But, by-the-way, the bonus chapter was very good and superior to most.
I’m going to be on the lookout for more Shaman games. They look to be a real up and comer in the industry (but please give me a map in future games).

It's an epic adventure. I thought this game was amazing for the price. I guess I haven't played many games like this. I actually bought this game by mistake. I thought it was going to be the typical hidden-object game. There are hidden objects and puzzles in the game, but it's really about exploration. It's an adventure game. The entire game isn't about being in a Steampunk world. This game has almost everything imaginable. I remember getting into a hot-air balloon and traveling to a fantasy world full of Woobies and other bizarre creatures. This is a big game. I bought this game 15 days ago. I haven't finished playing it yet. There's even a bonus chapter. This game does not have Steam achievements. That's probably why it's not more popular.

Good point and click adventure game, with puzzles.
Difficulty is well balanced, puzzles are logic and, if you ever go crazy, there is a step-by-step guide to save your ass.
Short, as usual.

The steampunk setting makes it so that the objects you need to interact with are a bit more unusual than your run of the mill adventure. Puzzles are also more unique. It's still easy to figure out.
Longer than I expected too. A good purchase.

I wanted to like it. I tried to like it. I couldn't like it. The puzzles are unique and challenging. However, the actions required for story progression devolve into "try this on that" until you find the right pixel or peculiar combination. I loved the story. The handy in-game puzzle solution guide was useful. The game lacks something, though. I couldn't find it enjoyable. It felt like work. I quit half way through the game. I love puzzle and hidden object games, of which this is not one, and have never before wanted just to be over and done with it.

Nice game, especially if you are New to the adventure game genre. Old school point and click game that ran flawlessly. The puzzles aren't too complicated and may even be called easy but don't let that put you off. IF you are the kind of person that likes to 'solve things', I think you will find this game enjoyable to pass some time (10 or 11 hours).
There are also 'hints' along the way IF you actually get stuck. Also, there is a little friend that may be of some assistance. However, I don't think anyone will need to use the hint system but thank the developers for putting it there 'just in case'.
I'd say, if you can get this little jewel for under $10 bucks, give it a whirl.<<

Overall, a 6/10 I would say. It is a good pass-the-afternoon point and click. I don't go into these games with a lot of expectations. The mini games are easier then usual. Definitely play the advanced mode. What was disappointing was the story line. It is hard to say why without giving spoilers. All I can say is that you won't feel connected even though you should be. If you like closure, you won't get it here. Lots of holes in the main story line and even the little details. But the steam punk aspect is cool, and most of the acting is tolerable. Get it on sale, for sure.

6/10. Not without its charms. A big step up from PlayRIX's other bug-riddled game, Fall of the New Age. This one plays like a lesser Artifex Mundi game, without hidden object scenes (there might be one or two). Simplistic adventure point and click scenarios. Fun & entertaining for its short length, as long as you're not looking for anything too challenging.

I enjoyed this puzzle game, visually very pleasing, some interaction with other people and creatures, the little robot helper was great felt the creators could have used him a little more in the game play, you know build on his personality. The puzzles are fairly easy, there is a strategy guide. A couple of days fun, Im happy, hope this helps
