As said in the description, Cobi Treasure Deluxe follows the Match 3 concept and will be your main objective of the game.
Now in the game play itself, the controls are very similar to that of other games which are in the same genre. You have the option of using either Mouse (Left/Right click) or Arrow keys (Up/Down) to control the rotation and speed of fall for the objects. It’s not too hard to. These controls are available across the 3 different modes available in game. The Classic one is self-explanatory, while the other two includes additional goals, or lifts some limits and restraints of the original variation. I've played Classic and Ship Shape modes so far, and both were promising.
The art and graphics were well done. Its main theme, being along the design of an undersea treasure has all that you would expect; the background are that of the ocean coral along with the addition of some shells, bubbles and sea creatures. There are also bubble effects here and there, and the menu screen is very lively, with the selections being floating bubbles. You also have the option to mute the audio and SF, as well as some screen adjustments. All of this runs smoothly on my laptop, and the game file itself is only around 23 MB.
The BGM is also well suited to the theme of the game play. You are accompanied by light-hearted, cheerful Hawaiian style music. I give the same compliments on the art and graphics to this aspect of the game as well.
Overall, Cobi Treasure Deluxe does play out to be a nice casual game. But on the downside, I can see it being frowned as a mobile game and its simplicity in gameplay. It did remind me of many mobile games, and of course, the classic Tetris and Jewel Quest that we all may know. Once you’ve played one, you’ve basically played majority of the same games that are out there. For a first try, I say it is worth playing.
