I am no so professional to be an artist, whether we choose to keep dreaming or it is time to wake up for reality.
I had no regret.

This program offers little advantages to free or cheaper alternatives such as FireAlpaca or Krita. Not only that, my CD key is being rejected by their activation system after a reinstall, so I can no longer make use of this product.
The brush configurations are rather limited and don't allow for lots for variation compared to Krita, there are no textures.. There is no symmetry function..
I will not be upgrading to OpenCanvas7 as the differences are superficial.
UPDATE:
I have emailed support and they have restored my CD key to proper functionality. So the support is good.
As for my statement about OC7, I must mention that it adds symmetry and the watercolor brushes look better than in this OC6.
However, the differences are still small.
Compared to alternatives, OpenCanvas overall lacks functions such as global pen pressure curve, traditional alt/ctrl/shift shortcuts, brush/canvas textures, perspective and mesh transform, key shortcuts for functions such as creating a layer etc, a fill tool that detects edges, brush blending modes, separate opacity pressure curve, customizable gradient map colors, change between dark mode or light mode ui and importing palette files.
It is a very simple program that works best for bold line flat colored cartoons, instead of anything watercolor or pencil stylized. The pen nib rotate and stretch function is probably the most unique part of their brush settings.
