Police can arrest you instantaneously. If they grab you, there's a chance it's game over as you can't fight it unless you get lucky enough that your character shirks their grab (entirely chance based). If you're unlucky enough you can get grabbed, arrested, and given the death penalty -and you had zero opportunity to resist as grab-reversal/resistance is entirely chance based, and you just lose your character permadeath. Entirely beyond your control/input.

The art style and gameplay are still very classic and fun, but the optimization of the game is too poor, and the playability of the operation is not strong. Playing games with a refresh rate of less than 60Hz is really dizzying now, and my Xbox controller doesn't work well in this game either. I hope to continue improving with the new engine to achieve better Hard Time.

this one is even more deranged there is very violent pregnancies and births and also super dismemberments X_X don't play if you're faint of heart i got so scared when birth happened you have to see it though its kind of hilarious

It is an actual open world simulator. I spent 3 days in prison beating up provocative inmates. The game is better than I had imagined. The controls are intuitive by hitting both CO's and inmates. The days you spent in prison fly by like Lockdown in AXD Florence. After watching prison documentaries in 2025 about The Owl Prison in Russia and Maximum Security Prisons in the USA, 'Hard Time 3' delivers on its promise to be a game with Dark Humor.
