Playtime: 35 minutes
30 minutes of gameplay: https://youtu.be/XRiY_qi3avk?si=5nMp76_gQMBPrsJp This game feels like a mash up of Unity assets thrown together and does not feel good to play. You need to survive 15 minutes but there's no part of that "survival" that actually feels fun. It's way too dark to see anything or detect when the zombies are coming by. You can't pick up any other guns or anything (so why tell us that we're using the PengPeng2000 if we can't use anything else?) to make it more enjoyable. You need to be able to detect singular blue pixels in the darkness to actually shoot them or stand in a slightly-brighter enclosed environment the whole time, swivelling back and forth in the hopes that one doesn't just run up behind you. The sound effect --- singular, since they only make one sound on loop --- plays at seemingly random intervals and can often play much too late for you to realize that a zombie is behind you. Running around a barn for 15 minutes (if you can even make it there in the pitchblack darkness) is not fun. They also seem to "get" you much too quickly; I often felt like I was a decent distance from the zombie when I was met with an instant game over screen. A game over screen which, may I say, is not translated into English, so I have no idea what it said. I don't know what the "funny" part of this game is - maybe I'm the funny one for having spend $3 on it. If this game was free, I wouldn't be complaining - but as it stands, this is more like a pre-Alpha tech demo than a fully-fledged game worth paying for. I can tell the dev is a decent individual because of the Tenacious D - Tribute reference they have in it, but I hope that they'll put more time and craft into their work before listing it for sale next time.
