Big selling point is the IP. But the progression, content and combat just isn't there to support it. The Casey Jones DLC is a step in the right direction. I would wait for a deep sale, and to see if it gets further support.

The game has potential, but it severely lacks content. After just a few hours, there's nothing meaningful left to do, For the current price, it doesn’t offer enough value, Sorry to say, I don't recommend it.

Fun little Rogue-Lite beat'em up. If you're a fan of TMNT, it's a must-play. Great voice acting, good visual direction, really feels like a love letter to the history of the heroes in a half shell. A little short with only 4 stages, to be fair, but these things are meant to be replayed again and again so, eh. New DLC just came out, and for the price, it's a pretty good deal. The new area is fun and visually distinct, and breaks up the runs a bit. The new portals and upgrades feel like a natural progression of things. Casey is a blast, though I'm PRETTY sure he and Raph share the same Voice Actor, cause they sound extremely similar. Would have liked them to be a little more distinct. Casey also plays great, though I feel like they should have used more sports-related moves for him instead of him focusing just on Hockey. His special is really unique though, look forward to basing some builds around it. Overall, very solid game, especially for the price. If you're NOT a turtle fan, you might not get as much joy out of it. Mileage may vary and what not.

As a big fan of the genre, and a life long turtle appreciator, this game does justice to both. The rogue-lite, beat-em-up genre, and turtles that is, nevermind. I think my favorite part is that I can play CON AMIGOS. Each turtle plays distinctively, and the upgrades you obtain along the way offer devastating, and robust combinations.

I like this game. Kinda. It has some really stupid stuff in it though. I generally hate rogue lights because of the loss on death mechanic and in this I feel like it doesn't really get that part right. Sometimes I feel like I am actually progressing decently with all the bonuses, but then they add spongey enemies, stupid lightening that only targets you?, change up boss attacks to cover even more of the arena and increase how spongey they are defeating the upgrades you have done. It makes the progression in the game very cringy and grind which I hate, but worst of all inconsistent. I felt like I was doing good then bam some shit modifiers and it made all the shit previous I had done meaningless.

After playing this game both solo and co-op a lil bit, I can say the game is a fun time burner, it's got okay replayability and the netcode is pretty solid, however there are a few grips I got with this game. - There needs to be a bit more variety with the room layouts, it's the same 3 to 4 layouts per stage so that get's predicable. - The enemy balancing is wacky, one room can be a cake walk and then the next room it would be really unnecessarily hard and then back down to a cake walk, like there's no gradual difficulty climb. - The hurt cones and hit boxes are not exact, there's been many times where I would be out of the hurt cone and I still lose HP (the mousers with the shields, The Junkyard boss, the lasers for example) so that needs to be refined. - It's hard to see where you are at times , there's no outline other your character....or any other character for that matter. - The lightning storms happen a little too frequently and it does stack with more players. I would like to be able stand still for more than 3-4 seconds, at the very least have it hit random parts of the room not at my feet 8 times out of 10. - The health bar UI, Please put the player's health next to the rest of the player info at the top corner of the screen. - The lighting effects for fire and shadow on the ground needs changing, it also makes it hard to see what the enemy is doing. - Add another store for the rooftops or at least have more choice for the one that's there - Fix the perk RNG, there' s been times when it's been nothing but all currencies back to back, I know you get re-rolls but I would like not wast all of them so soon. I feel the game would be more solid fixing these issues.

The game is completely incomplete. It's half, maybe even a third of the actual storyline. They don't even tell you the game is over or to wait for a DLC to come out. On that topic, why would you release an incomplete game and force us to buy DLCs to play out the rest of the story? Pretty scumbag move. Now if that were the only issue, i wouldn't complain. However, the game is riddled with all sorts of bugs such as falling off the map and not being able to swap artifacts in co-op mode among many others. Fix the game. Release the DLC for free because us TMNT fans deserve a complete game

the loading times are terribly long, I gave up from playing multiple times just on the loading screen. "play online" forget it.. the game just crashed before starting. overall its fun but these technical issues break the game.

Overall a decent game, but not one that I would recommend. It does handle the setting very, very well. An excellent TNMT wrapper that is true to source. The problems with the game is that there is very little 'game' to be had. Each run of the game is quite short with very minor variance. The extra bits of story you unlock after reaching various trigger points is generally tiny and not enough to keep you grinding. Finally, the difficulty is poorly managed with some encounters being wildly more difficult than their equivalents. All this adds up to grinding nearly the exact same rooms, barely any breadcrumb story keeping you interested, and getting frustrated when you randomly get a badly balanced room. It's fun for a little bit and then it falls extremely flat. I was disappointed I couldn't even enjoy 10 hours of playtime. I stopped having fun around the 7.5hr mark and kept grinding hoping it would improve.

In local coop, only one player can buy upgrades. It is unacceptable for a rogue-like game :( I'll gladly buy the game again if they fix this issue, but for now, it's a refund.
