Very nice and relaxing game to play! My kids also like to play it! Once you get past the initial tutorial levels, the game really opens up, and you start cooking things with actual measurements. The slicing of the food feels very good to do. Like a next level of fruit ninja style game.
Controls - a mouse or controller both work great
Overall, it's fun how the judges judge you as the end of each level. There's also a variety of game modes to play. Very well done overall

This game is fantastic! But there are just 2 issues that are just present: You can't quit the game, and the mouse pointer is not in sync with some minigames. Despite that this is an Apple Arcade exclusive video game, some of these problems need some little fixes and some additions like audience reactions and sound effects. Thank you for your understanding and i'll continue to enjoy this game!

Its cute and fun! I don't really understand the timers on the game modes yet, I wish they would explain that more in the game.

This is a pretty decent Cooking Mama-like game. 100+ recipes to choose from, several game modes and works well with a controller. I think this was a mobile game before, because the menu's, forced tutorials and "season pass" (not paid) feel very mobile-esque. It's not distracting to me, but I figured it's worth mentioning.
The game works well on Deck. There's some very minor freezing during preparation at times, but it's always fixed after less than a second and doesn't take away from the experience. Pretty good experience!

I was expecting something akin to the Cooking Mama or Papa Louie franchises judging by this game's steam store page and other reviews I had read, and while it tries to me like those games, it just fails on all fronts.
The controls are awful, the customization is awful. everything has some sort of timed objective which completely undermines the goal of it being cozy because it wants the player to experience FOMO. the DLC flat out doesn't work either.
Just stick with Cooking Mama, because this game is clearly built for a mobile audience yet marketed as if it's a serious console game.

i noticed there isn't any reviews, so i thought i would go ahead and leave one since I have been enjoying the game myself. I haven't played too much yet, but I have already been really enjoying the gameplay. i like how when you cook, you use your mouse to cut things, add sauces, etc.. rather than just clicking around which makes it more interactive. there's currently over 120 recipes which is refreshing because there's lots to choose from. it somewhat reminds me of cooking mama by the way you measure, cut things, and what not. they only things i dislike is lack of customization on the actual avatar such as the face, hairstyles, and hair colors. i also think there are a bit too many loading screens. they aren't long loading screens, but it can kind of be annoying after some time when claiming your items and switching between menus. i think adding multiplayer wouldn't be a bad idea either. overall this is a really nice cooking game for what its priced at.
