It's a 3D platformer, with all the problems inherent to that genre. It's a low-rent beat-em-up in the vein of the Batman Arkham Whatever series. Levels aren't as open as they look, with invisible walls limiting what you can do in some places. It's got a juvenile sense of humor. And, of course, the in-game graphics look a little odd.
But, the graphics look odd because they're trying to match the top-notch animation they have in cutscenes and elsewhere. And while the humor's juvenile, it can still make you crack a smile. No, it's not a great game, but it's a decidedly OK game... and you get to beat on clowns with a large hammer, so that has to count for something.

I first things first this game is definitely not for everyone. I even highly recommend watching some gameplay before you decide to buy it. The gameplay is blocky and the early combat feels like an extremely downgraded Batman game, and everything else pretty simple and basic. HOWEVER I find the game extremely funny, and have mainly been playing it because of how much I enjoy the dialog and jokes, and while the platforming is pretty bland I love it because it reminds me the platformers I used to play back on the original playstation. Overall I'd say that I'm happy I bought this one.

Comic art style is pretty good and has great humor ( dialogue and its slapstick cut scenes ) . Love it. Overall pleasant. Game play wise is straight forward hack and slash. Simple puzzles. If you like beating up clowns that has given you nightmares go for it, pluck their red noses and nail them down.
