An absolutely amazing soundtrack to a great game by Supergiant Games. Full of bangers with songs to listen to even outside of the game or while playing oher games. Use to have a spotify playlist on it when i use to use it. Definitely worth it. My favourites are the ones with vocals by Ashley Barrett like We All Become and The Spine. Other instrumental songs are great too like Dormant and Gold Leaf. Recommend a listen to at least on spotify or youtube where it's all available. Just wanted to support here haha

It's 24/6/2016 as I'm writting this, and I see no negative reviews about the music. I saw a review from Dire Penguin saying the same thing, and that was from 1/1/2015.
Darren Korb's compositions never fails to amaze me, and even better, Ashley Barrett's voice being accompanied with his music- it's a really nice combination to hear.
Supergiant Games makes both beautiful games and beautiful music. Better than any games I've seen today.

Been listening to alot of this recently.
Like Bastion this soundtrack does an impressive job immersing the player in the desolate and decaying world of Transistor. It is during the boss fights when the soundtrack hits it's peak, where songs voiced by Ashley Barrett enhances the drama and emotion.
The vocals are of course everyone's favourites, as it is amazing to listen, but the non-vocals aren't shabby at all.
The soundtrack comes with an extended version which includes the hummed version of the non-vocal pieces.

The vocal tracks (The Spine, In Circles, We All Become, Paper Boats, Signals, and She Shines) are absolutely awesome. As for instrumental tracks, Old Friends, Stained Glass, Gold Leaf, Gateless, and Coasting are great too. On the extended soundtrack, pretty much all of the hummed versions of tracks are also really good, as well as all three of the "processed" songs.
On another note, I personally love pairing Blank Canvas (Hummed) and Paper Boats like they're one track as well, or putting together the three versions of Gold Leaf. The soundtrack in general flows really well, and all the songs are great to some level.

This is still some of the best of the best in this industry and in music as well, I still listen to this years later and I believe Supergiant is always going to deliver a fantastic OST that is intertwine with the game and its setting. I will always remember when I first heard the vocals at the beginning of the game, Focking beautiful. The Music will always be dear and close to my heart, I can't wait till Supergiant's next game, I still can't believe the success they had with Hades and I am proud to be there since the start of that game's journey and will always be there for the next projects they produce and create for us the fans and for those tuning and starting their journey with this beautiful and fantastic Company and its developers. ( Darren Korb is a talented genius and Ashley Barrett is a beautiful vocalist and person :D <3 )

As much as the soundtrack is great - I will review the Steam version:
For 9,99€ you only get the mp3 version of the score (extended as well).
You can get the FLAC version from the composers bandcamp site for the same price, thus I cannot recommend to get it on Steam.

Transistor has the best soundtrack out of any game I've ever played without a doubt. As well as the normal soundtrack, you also get hummed versions, instrumental versions, and varient versions of songs in the extended soundtrack (and She Shines which is free).

Transistor's music not only lends mood and credibility to its world, its combination of electronica inflection and vocal work is nice to listen to, if a bit melancholy at times. Hints of Portal 2's music here and there are pleasing for those who played that game, as well. Supergiant Games put a lot of work into it, and it shows with the remastering - and with the bonus material as well. If you liked the music in the game at all, I'd say this is worth a purchase.

A very calm and gentle soundtrack when compared to the techno-bluegrass of Bastion. The singer has a beautiful voice for the songs In Circles, We All Become, Spine of the World and Paper Boats while the orchestral arrangements are still unique and soothing to listen to.
If you like your music, then give Transistor's soundtrack a go, fitting music for a great game.
