Formula Racing Manager Steam Charts & Stats

This is probably my favorite of the casual race management sims. I've played a bunch, and Motorsport Manager is clearly the best, but I'm always looking for a more casual game like this for when I don't feel like spending an hour on a race in MM. Some examples I've tried off the top of my head include Golden Lap (recommend), Flat Spot, OWM2, etc. All of these games have issues, and they are all absurdly easy to take the worst team and just dominate in a year or two. Formula Racing Manager doesn't have bugs or awful issues that I noticed at all, everything makes sense and works, and it took me until 2030 to have the American team dominating, so for me it's by far the best of the casual race management sims. You don't manage the races (hire someone to do that), and there is minor cheese like I was able to sign two top young drivers year one and develop them to being by far the best drivers in the game by 2030 when they probably shouldn't want to sign with the worst teams when they're the best prospects, but that's such a minor complaint it's barely worth mentioning. If you're looking for a more casual racing management sim, I think this is probably the best one right now. I'd also recommend checking out Golden Lap because it's the only other one that's even good at all (you also manage the races a bit in that one, but it's quick), but I think Formula Racing Manager beats it out in every way. I probably won't play this tons because MM exists, but for when I want to scratch that racing itch in a more casual way, this will be the game I play.
