As expected, it is peak. I personally enjoyed the combats in this a lot more, though admittedly I was stubborn and beat everything in the basegame on insane, whereas here I settled for Hard. Difficulty aside, I enjoyed the story and the writing continues to be very enjoyable. I don't think any other CRPG manages to nail the feel of actual TTRPG gameplay and story as well as this, and the DLC is a perfect expansion on the basegame.
