you might like it if you like stuff by edmund mcmillen. feels like potential that was poorly executed on though. maybe worth an afternoon if you've got nothing else to do.

It's a fun little speed ball game. Has a good sense of momentum and the levels can be fun. I think my main issue is that there honestly might be too much control? It seems kinda odd but I kept running into issues where by trying to change my direction as I bounce around sends me slightly off course in a way that causes me to bounce unpredicably. And a lot of levels I can't just not use the joystick while bouncing because you don't get as much speed and can't make jumps a lot of times. This is also often an issue with all these speed games but sometimes you just can't predict what's coming up at fast enough times. I don't know if there's a true solution, maybe showing the entire map before doing the level? Hard to say. I do really enjoy the pinball and bowling levels. Pinball just feels like a new world but bowling honestly rearranges the game in an extremely fun way. You now see the entire path to take and often it's just about your execution. I might enjoy bowling the most out of all the modes. Also I do quite like all the skins. This is a fun game to mess around with in an afternoon but I don't have that desire to improve any of my times, 3 S, 1 B, and 5 Fs will be fine for me.

A very fun fast chaotic platformer that I think couldve been fleshed out more
Most of the cosmetic items were already in the demo
Only the forest levels have S rank achievements which is a bit odd

For only costing $1, this game is surprisingly very polished. The controls are really fun and the uncapped momentum leads to some insane gameplay potential. The visuals and the soundtrack are also great (there's only one song but it's very fun to listen to).
My only real gripe is the level design. Most of the levels are good on paper, but actually playing them can be pretty frustrating because they're often built off of chaining bounces off of 45 degree walls, which are usually a bit inconsistent and will lead to you flying off in some random direction more often than not. There are also some levels that force you to slow down to make precise jumps after setting it up so it looks like you should get a ton of speed. The levels themselves are pretty difficult to read, I think this could be fixed by letting you zoom out or putting binoculars at the star of each stage that lets you see the whole layout.
I've found that the best strategy for most levels is to do them in chunks. Do a part as intended, unroll yourself to stop your momentum, then continue.
This game is still a ton of fun once you really get the hang of the controls. 100%ing it took me about 5 hours, which is great value for only $1. Also, it's called Bug Ball. You play as a bug that can turn into a ball. (Very awesome)

this game is peak
I do wish there was a way to view longer courses without just going through them since it's a little hard to tell what you need to do when you're going 12 billion metres per second (mainly needed in the hard courses since it's difficult to learn them through trial and error)
otherwise fun game with great level design and nice feeling controls (also has isopods so instant 10/10)
