This was a legendary upgrade performed over its previous title, heroes of might and magic 2. Both these titles still own the day with success

"Noobs of Plight and Grindy" is a throwback to the simple days. Days where we were so naive and the world was so full of wonder that repeating the same basic actions over and over again felt like the best thing ever. But it shows you how nostalgia is the greatest of biases. This game hooked me again just like... 200 years ago, was it? Two gripes about this game: 1. The remake is not on the complete version, you are better off buying the game from GoG 2. The repetitiveness of the game doesn't hold today and I don't see myself playing beyond finishing the campaign. Another road mark in the way to feeling THAT old.

Top notch game! It's been a favorite of mine for years now and is filled with nostalgia. It's very fun with friends but does take time to get through a game.

The GOG version is superior, but I would recommend this version to anyone trying to get into HoMM3, as you can just jump into this game without having to go through the effort of making this game playable at 1080p.

Very good remaster of the classic. I recommend it to everyone.

Leaving this review as the community info on the game is very misleading - scoring what is a great game and not that particular non functional product on Steam. That release of the game is horrible for a number of reasons stated in other reviews already. Save yourselves time and buy the complete edition from somewhere *wink wink*. There is also a great fan made expansion worth giving it a try fully compatible with "that other release". You are welcome

The download misses some of the final upgrades from the original DLC (including the elemental kingdom), but is great for the price for some solid hours of nostalgia.

great game but dont buy it on steam. this edition of the game does not have any of the expansions instead buy it on GOG. its cheaper and come with all the expansions and is the versions that all the best mods are made for.

Absolute classic. I grew up with this perfect turnbased game. The HD edition brings it to this century & We still love it.

- Steam version does not have any add-ons. Only Restoration of Erathia. My bad, I should check/read reviews before buying instead of assuming that things should make sense. - Localization bugs like missing descriptions on spells. I guess quality control was busy in "quadruple-A" games development that time... Verdict: Buy the GOG version and enjoy.
