I, for one, would be proud for humanity's ancestor to be such a hekkin' cute and valid goober.
Really fun game, honestly!
Erma can be customised with so many different parts that you may as well be playing a different game depending on your setup.
Boss fights can be pretty tough, but they encourage you to play with Erma's build to try and find an efficient counter.
Between this and Frebbventure, I think this guy is becoming one of my favorite indie developers.
There's undeniable heart and passion put into his creations that I think deserves more recognition than it's getting.
His only problem is that he seems allergic to promoting himself, so I'll do it for him a little bit:
Check out his youtube channel "Almy the Alien" if you enjoy listening to an actual game developer (for once) talk about games with a dash of YTP crackhead humor.
I wish you success with your games! I'm looking forward to Frebbventure alliance!

A very interesting case! Althought it play like a top down action game, and you DO need to play well, the main focus of this games is to modify your critter so that it can match the current challenges, and with a dozen of arm/leg/tail/body/organs at your disposal almost instantly, each change can have a drastic effect. But with zero penalty for switching back and forth, it become real fun to play frankestein and there's lots of interesting possibilities at hands.
The action is divided by more free-roaming sector with mini goal to achieve, and the more directly designed stages, mostly the bosses. the earlier works well, but it's on the later where the game really shine. It become more of a puzzle to figure out how to match each challenge instead of farming for a 'jaw + 10', as there is no 'improved body part' in this game, just a large amount of possibilities. And to reach the end, you'll have to master it, as it's far from an easy game, but there's usually always a way to make it all much more doable.
If you like top down action game and don't mind experimenting, this is a very good and interesting game, highly recommended!
