A fun arcadey game that's a great way to spend around 20 minutes at a time.

I really like this game and its mechanics. I have been playing it for a few months and I think honestly that it is a great idea for a game and i'm glad to have bought it. Collecting the achievements has been pretty hard but I have gotten past multiple hard areas in the game but one small issue is that I cant complete one achievement titled " Lead Zeplin" which tells me to stay in the air for 10 seconds which has proven to be very difficult. I have not been able to find a way to complete it and I have been looking for someone who can list out the way to complete this achievement.

One of those games that looks like a 4/10 janky N64 game or janky indie title but it’s actually a pretty solid take on the arena survival formula. The concept is great and there are the right little nuances and attention to detail that a good arcade game needs to have elegantly simple yet deep design. For example your run speed is faster when not readying your bowling shot, incentivizing usefulness and strength of the melee attack for survival purposes, but the bowling throw is needed for earning strikes and slows your movement down, similar to laser shot slowing you down in shmups. The melee attack’s range is limited however which incentivizes proper spacing. There’s a “just throw” mechanic to the bowling throw where your ball is supercharged if you charge it just the right amount, which also helps incentivizing not just holding down the bowling aim function and coercing the player to move more. The jump system lets you double jump by using your shot like other arena games but the game doesn’t let you throw the ball when airborne but instead just do a kind of melee downward strike. This helps keep the game within a nice balance of groundedness for landing strikes and air juggles for taking out certain enemies. My only major critique is I think the game rewards circle strafing too much for survival purposes. I could be wrong, but it just seems that once you get to a certain point in the run you kind of just run in a circle and do a lot of airborne attacks to survive, but this may not be optimal for scoring. It may be something to consider from a design perspective. My second critique is I think it could just use a bit more spice to the combat, aesthetic, add a few more enemy types, and let the player powerups last longer. For example the speed boost power only seems to last like 2 seconds..? Why? I think there could be more to increase player power when getting deeper into the game which can lead to a more exciting end game. Coupled with a few more enemy types such as a really big boss type like the skeletal dragons in devil daggers and stuff like that, and also perhaps another mode or 2 and a few more enemies, and also lean more into the 90s bowling screen animations even more (why not actually add some screens and animations to them in game when certain things happen?) I can see this being a pretty great title. Definitely a lot of potential here, I hope the dev/devs continue to flesh out their ideas and talent

A horde-based FPS with a visual theme based on the campy celebration animations that play at bowling alleys. Triangle patterns of pins make positioning paramount, and the wind up required for each throw gives it a more intentional pace than the spray-and-pray of Serious Sam. Fun & fast!

A really solid and unique arcade fps. For how chaotic it might look, its quite readable. Devs plan to add more content, too!
