I've been playing JP Park Builders for about as long as I've been speaking, so I'll start with the good. Each of these entries understands what the game would benefit from, and it always improves itself. The game, on its own, is fantastic-- you don't need to buy any DLC or anything to make it better or playable. However, the game's developer and publisher is obsessed with microtransaction ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and I'm not going to endorse a game that refuses to learn its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lesson. Stop putting the most bare minimum ♥♥♥♥ behind absurd paywalls. You got me a whole different kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up if you think I'm going to pay for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mutant slop from that piece of ♥♥♥♥ movie. You want a complete experience? Go play Jurassic Park Operation Genesis or get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ repack of this game. ♥♥♥♥ Frontier.

I've been a loyal dinosaur fan since I was a kid. After saving up and waiting for so long, I finally got my hands on the game I'd always dreamed of. Even better, this is the newest, most beautiful, and most innovative version with many new management mechanics. And just as I always expected, this game is truly stunning and amazing, from the environment to the dinosaurs... everything is fantastic, and I'm really happy to have experienced it. Of course, it's much better than watching it on YouTube! LOL ^^

Its ok. Its a JPE2 2.1, which its just like the second one you just get less dinosaurs, maps, and able to do just a few more park attractions. Its really not worth getting full price, I would wait for a good sale so you don't feel like you just got ripped off, especially the rebirth DLC. Long story short save your money for a massive sale.

An evolution of the previous games. It's an amazing and fun game, and I do recommend it over the previous ones if you have limited funds, but it does have it's flaws. Mainly being that the dinosaur selection in this game is FAR smaller than any of the previous games. It makes sense, and I understand, but its a bit of a disappointment. If you don't understand, the game has a more limited selection because of the inclusion of baby dinosaurs. With the inclusion of baby dinosaurs, there are now tons of more models and programming they have to do for each dinosaur, and this will naturally limit how much they can do because people can only work so fast. The building system is an amazing upgrade on the previous games and indisputably what sets this installment out from the others, as you can make gorgeous buildings and even more gorgeous enclosures with the tools they've provided. My favorite thing to do so far has been to just make beautiful environments more than anything, and I love the rest of the game too. It's a high mastery skill ceiling, though. Be prepared to spend hundreds of hours learning how to make a decent building. Overall, JWE3 is the culmination of everything that has come before it. While it lacks in progress in some areas, it makes up for in others. I love this game and this franchise with all my heart and it's never disappointed.

I have over 630 hours in Jwe2 and this game is a great upgrade in most ways. However, there is still a decent amount of missing content from jwe2 not counting the missing species. Such as a lot of the AMAZING planters and a few other scenery items. The game is really good and worth it. At least for me the modular building can be very intimidating (that's why I never really got into planet zoo) But for those who are good at that sort of thing It is a very good addition. Also same with the other 2 games there are a lot of paid DLC (or in this case will be a lot of paid DLC). This game also runs pretty smoothly on my computer.

this game is pretty much just Jurassic world evolution 2 but with baby dinosaurs and the ability to customize buildings. thats the only new stuff. they removed custom challenges and they somehow have less dinosaurs than in the 2nd game and they made the dino ai even worse. there are several times when you will get alerts of a dinosaur being in critical condition and when you check why you will see that they have decided to starve themself despite being surrounded by food. this issue was in the 2nd game, but was limited to only the smallest dinosaurs, but now it applies to everything. just get jurrassic world evolution 2, it has more stuff in it anyway.

A solid improvement over the first two, just a bit of a shame that it took two games and dlc runs to get to this point. The campaign is pretty much perfect and exactly what I wanted - its a long one, giving you a whole lot of different park sites across the globe with their differing missions (one is focused on disease research, one is focused on gentle giants, for example), which keeps the fun and variety high. Visually, these locations vary a lot too, from your standard jurassic-fare tropical islands, to the north american badlands - all the way over to cherry blossom strewn-japan. Its good! Better than the first game's campaign (which was fun but had pretty awful mission design), and a longer/deeper experience than the second game's chaos theory mode. Terrain tools have been hugely improved allowing you to create much more dynamic landscapes with hills, cliffs, natural barriers and waterfalls - creating natural enclosures is a pretty big highlight as its both interesting from a gameplay and visual variety perspective. Dinosaur species have been expanded with Sexual Dimorphism (which ranges from stark to subtle across different species) and the inclusion of Family Units, allowing you to finally have juveniles running about the place. Challenge mode is better than ever, and follows a JWE2-like way of doing things, where each park is a bit more specialised and has its own objectives and unique spin on things, which makes for pretty interesting gameplay,. keeping it fresh - you wont be able to just create the same park each time across the different challenge maps. By far the biggest game-changer however, is the combination of the new modular building system (brought over from Planet Zoo, I believe) and the resulting in-game Workshop. The short of it is - people are able to design their own custom buildings and scenery objects with the wide variety of "pieces" available in-game, and upload the designs to the workshop, allowing you to just plop them down into your own park. This is, frankly - nutty for variety, as there are so many incredibly creative and talented people out there making all sorts of cool buildings and scenery pieces, meaning that the kind of static and boring set of shops that we've had in the past games are a thing of the past. Miss the giant burger balloon shop from operation genesis? yeah, some crazy (positive) person has built that. Nostalgic about the mobile app park builder games? You can find plenty of recreations of buildings and decorations from those too. Its really fantastic and reminds me how I wish more games had similar systems or built-in mod menus. With all of that, I think this is a solid BUY - even at full price, assuming you aren't too burnt out of this being the third in a series of park builders. If you're a management/challenge player, there's plenty of content across campaign and challenge modes to keep you interested, and if you're a builder/sandbox player, the sandbox is the best and most visually creative and interesting its ever been - even if you lack the skill (or frankly, patience) to use the modular building system to personalize things yourself, the workshop is there to bring you that variety. Barring circumstances out of the developers control (licensing issues), the post-launch support has been good as well, and whilst the game is missing some of the species from the past games, we're getting a lot of them back in free monthly updates.

This comment is coming from someone who owns 2 on every system and loves dinosaurs with a passion! Plus i can't help but try to make a massive gated area with a style like arc where i add different dinos to see how they interact and survive! So seeing this game and the updates I'm truly exited to see how much further i can go with that with the addition of juveniles!! But the EULA leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I'm someone that usually blindly agrees to every single one. Posting this before agreeing to the EULA. I just sat at the decline or agree screen till then XD. However, after reading the agreement section 1.1 and 1.2. Basically in 1.1 if some plays this game on your device without your permission first you're breaching the EULA. Already a joke. But it gets more fun at 1.2 where if you agree to the EULA you agree to relinquish responsibility to the Devs for any links that lead to harmful or malicious things on your device! Why? well 1.2 says word for word " The Game and/or Online Features may contain links to other third party websites. Such websites are not controlled by Frontier, and we are not responsible for and do not endorse their content, privacy policy or data practices. Then why is it in your game!? Also, you have to absolutely love the addition of 2.1 "We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive(so someone else has access as well), non-sub-licensable, REVOCABLE, limited license to Use the Game." in the EULA Revocable isn't all caps or any i did that for highlight and () for personal thoughts. Lets jump down some more to 3: License Restrictions. Now take this as you will but personally this makes me wonder if while logged into the game or if i agree to this their going to monitor my activity because truly how are they going to know or stop this? However 3. " To the maximum extent permitted by law, you shall not." 3.A "load the Game on to a network server for the purpose of distribution to one or more other device(s) on that network or to effect such distribution" This next one i find moronic and that the game has no real choice in 3.C "use cheats(in general), automation software, hacks, mods, or any unauthorized software designed to modify or defeat the purpose or experience of the Game or to disable or circumvent any security, anti-tamper or anti-cheat features included in the game." I wonder if the Dark Souls 3 Anti Cheat turn off works on this game??? 4.2 makes me laugh if you recall 1.2 "You may not infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any third party in relation to your Use of the Game or any Online Features." So what I'm reading is that the Devs will gladly protect third parties in affiliate. But you also have to agree to relinquish being able to blame them if said third parties give you a link to something malicious. 4.5 i don't disagree with i just find it ironic. So everyone in the world can collect information from you; but god forbid you do it to them! However 4.5 "You may not collect or harvest any information or data from the Game, the Online Features(understandable), or our systems(unfair), and may not attempt to decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Game or Online Features." Mind blowing thing! But what if like some for safety you have everything that goes on on your PC copied to a USB as in case of system crashes or power issues since not everyone can afford a UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply). With how this comes across this information is so readily available that it has to be pointed out so wouldn't that cause an immediate breach despite being a completely legal method to back up your system? 5.2 is a fun one on account of you spending either 50 to 100 dollars on the game or 40 to 80 on sale. However, 5.2 You Acknowledge and agree that." 5.2 A "the Contents are owned or licensed by Frontier, and that you may not rent, LEND, sub-license, exploit for profit or gain, copy, reproduce, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works from(i hope you didn't plan on drawing your park or a dino from the game XD), adapt, distribute, make available, communicate to the public or otherwise exploit the Contents or any of part the Contents in any manner." 5.2 B "you have no rights(to have fun) in or to the Game or the Online Features other than the right to Use them strictly in accordance with the terms of this EULA." 5.2 C "You shall acquire no proprietary rights in past or stored gameplay, arrangements, Game progress, character or other achievements within the Game; and." 5.2 D "you have no rights to access the Game in source code form." Now like i said I'm not in the game yet I'm at the agree decline screen so this has me a little concerned about microtransactions outside of DLC since there's a mention of DLCs separately in the same sentence. However 6.1 "To Use the Game you are required to pay a fee.(hopefully that's just the initial purchase!) Some content such as DLC may be made available for purchase for an additional charge." If 5.2 didn't come off aggressive this ones is pretty much a threat. 6.2 "Failure to pay any fees or charges is a material breach of this EULA. We may amend the fees and payment terms at anytime in our sole discretion." pretty much their saying If You Do Something, We'll Do Something. This isn't even halfway through it but it's already like this! i can't imagine what the rest is like! Well that's for you to find out! or not. I think it's a lot smarter to not too and after reading, typing, and eating my 2 hours weren't up i would be refunding this game and spending it on something that respects it's users and won't try stealing my game in a couple years if everything isn't perfect and the Devs pockets aren't fat. Cough DungeonBorne cough. Also, last thing. But if anyone has doubts my comments will be on. But i will delete it if your argument lacks proof and/or evidence. This comment is primarily to inform with the slight addition of personal opinions clearly pointed out or sectioned with ().

Love the game, but I have some pros and cons. Pros: - Breeding programs, generations of dino families. - Lots of assets to build. - Graphics are amazing. - More creative freedom. Cons: - List of dinos are repetitive to the other games. I thought this game was primarily focused on hybrids and it sucks we can't breed them. - Terrain builder preventing dinos from exploring their territory. I will make large enclosures with layers of terrain then smooth them out yet they can't reach areas unless its completely flat. - Comfort meter is janky so dinos get mad so easily even when I up their comfort meter in the genome traits. - Sometimes operational buildings will not do any tasks even when they are assigned to posts. - Campaign not as fun and complex as it was in Evo 2. Don't get me wrong, the game is great so far. I feel there are some things missing and need to be fixed. Its still a manageable game to play. I spend too much time terraforming. I wish the maps were a smidge bigger so I can get crazy with it. ALSO, what is with yall not adding bridges or stairs?

Don't get me wrong, i like the game. But this is just the same game for a 3rd time, with less content somehow. It's also really funny that they act like they are doing everyone a huge favour by giving everyone a "free update every month" where they add dinosaurs to the game that the fanbase has already bought from the previous 2 games for free, like thankyou for not being scumbags and doing the decent thing by giving everyone dinosaurs they already bought once for free in the sequel to the game where they bought them origionally. ~ DIFFICULTY ~ 🔲 My 90 year old grandma could play it ✅ Easy 🔲 Normal 🔲 Hard ~ GRAPHICS ~ 🔲 Bad 🔲 Meh 🔲 Graphics dont matter in this game 🔲 Good ✅ Beautiful 🔲 Masterpiece ~ MUSIC ~ 🔲 Bad 🔲 Not special ✅ Good 🔲 Beautiful ~ STORY ~ 🔲 This game has no story 🔲 It's there for the people who want it ✅ Bland. 🔲 Well written 🔲 Epic story ~ PRICE ~ 🔲 Free 🔲 Underpriced 🔲 Good Price ✅ Could be cheaper 🔲 Overpriced 🔲 Complete waste of money ~ REQUIREMENTS ~ 🔲 You can run it on a calculator 🔲 Average ✅ High end 🔲 NASA computer ~ LENGTH ~ ✅ Short (2 - 15 hours) 🔲 Average (15-50 hours) 🔲 Long (50-90 hours) ~ FUN ~ 🔲 Hard to enjoy ✅ Repetitive (3rd game with exactly the same gameplay) 🔲 Actually pretty amusing 🔲 Absolute ride of your life ~ REPLAYABILITY~ 🔲 It's a one-time experience 🔲 Only for achievements ✅ Yes 🔲 Definitely 🔲 Infinitely replayable ~ WORTH BUYING ~ 🔲 No ✅ Wait for sale 🔲 Absolutely Final rating: 6.5/10
