First of all, this app is really just a UI to download various GitHub repositories which supposedely create the advertised 3D desktop effect, but even using the "Quick Start" guide I was unable to achieve anything besides a 2D image of my desktop which slowly flew away. This just doesn't work and there's no tutorials on how to make it work.

It's a cool app, I won't thumbs down, but it needs some work. Don't expect to get 60 fps with the minimum specs. I can't seem to average more that around 40-45 fps in real time conversion which makes it stutter and unpleasant. my system is 3080TI and i7 8700K. It's cool on a still image though. Also the models download seperately from the application and take up a lot more drive space than I anticipated

As 3-DOF stereo glasses become mainstream the app is a must have. At the moment of writing required SBS-mode is available with the beta branch (i7-10870H, GTX-1660 it works flawlessly). I'm amazed by the amount of details contained in old scanned photographs. In addition to recognizing a particular remembered moment, I'm getting access to it's spatial constituents like rooms, tables, bodies, clothing which turns up my 'associative engine' the way flat pictures never did. The app also altered the way I interact with visual novels. I used to pay too much attention to text, but now when it's artistic surrounding literally pops out, it certainly gets its fair share of eye-time. At the moment I run it on my gaming rig, but hopefully given that glasses won't actually require rendering large FOV and my primary use case is in static or artistically animated low FPS content a mini-PC or a laptop with decent integrated graphics (like radeon 680m) could provide for much more flexible scenario of use.
