It has the quality of a High school project but has some charm. Worst issue is the controls (you can animation cancel the shoot button and NOT shoot + strange inertia) and hitreg (missing what should hit and hitting what should miss). Both are vital for a good platformer and it's missing completely. The game is not insanely fun but I wouldn't say I overpaid. Expect a 3$ experience for the 3$ game. You can beat the game in under an hour. Don't get any ideas.

The OST is pretty great chiptune for a freshman debut like this, and it definitely reeks of the tonal shifting and indie stylings vis a vis Undertale. I'll admit that I'm just a liiiiittle lost on the plot as a whole - there are definitely cool and interesting story beats throughout that further emphasize the weird kinda post-apocalyptic, hollow, empty, alone vibe - but I was left wanting a bit more questions answered than what was there. The different visual styles weaved throughout were genuinely impressive, and though there was some opaque storytelling, the ending did hold some emotional heft and satisfaction. Definitely looking forward to what this dev cooks up next since this first go holds a lot of promise for what's to come!
