This is a really fun stealth game with a great sense of humor. In the first level alone there are several different routes you can choose between and at least two optional hidden areas which provide some interesting items. Reminds me of Deus Ex in that way. Oh, and head-shotting guards with the slingshot right before they raise the alarm never gets old.

genuinely one of the best stealth games for VR, amazing mechanics i haven't seen in other games, at least not done this well, and funny plot. could use some polishing like better inventory controls but i'm sure all that will be added with future updates. would recommend 9/10 edit: they added movement controls, now just needs a bit of polishing and this is one of the best vr stealth games out there

A bit buggy, and very brutal, but overall well made. I've seen countless titles for VR that are just rushed slop or completely dry of content, and this is neither of those. What this is instead is a loving recreation of how stealth games were in the old days, and near-perfectly translated to VR no less. The camera is honestly genius VR stealth game design. Rather than trying to do something complex with a lean system, they just gave the player a camera you can stick out around a corner without being spotted. In addition, it works to fill the role of the marking system, as just taking a picture of an enemy gives em a big red marker above their head. It's simple, effective, and elegant. And fun, for that matter. The stealth as a whole is solid. The indicators of when you're spotted or heard are good. Taking out guards, hiding behind cover, stashing bodies, it all works and feels great. As you get to later levels, you get more tools in your arsenal. I ran into a handful of minor bugs, but no crashes. Mostly simple stuff, like a bit of visual artifacting here and there as the culling zones of certain areas isn't quite set up properly. As I moved from one room to another, I'd see some z-fighting on a couple things, and some items would pop in and out (NOT most rooms, it was like one or two specific doorways that acted as a transition from one part of a level to another). Sometimes, I'd lose the ability to use one or all of the quickslots with one hand, which was always fixed on a level reset. In a few places npcs could hear me when they shouldn't, or couldn't hear me when they should. The biggest and funniest bug I found is that you can walk through walls. Just straight up. Yeah it'll stop you when you move with the joystick, but it doesn't stop you at all when you move in real life. I'll admit, fucking around with just stepping right through locked doors and solid walls was fun, but it was pretty game-breaking, so I chose to avoid it. I will admit though, I don't think this game is for me. I was never into the more difficult aspects of the older stealth games, and after 5 hours it has worn a bit thin. There is precedent, though. This is how stealth games used to be and there are plenty of people who still want stealth games that are built this way. No mid-mission saves, many overlapping guard patrols, instant resets when spotted on certain levels (it did make sense in context), these are some of the things I wished I could change while playing. Mostly the mid mission saves, really. Getting sent all the way back to the start of the level when I screw up just isn't something I'm into. Of course, I don't necessarily want the game to be changed just to fit my preference. Dev(s), if you do make those changes, I'd suggest it be a difficulty option thing. I'm partial to those hyper-customizable difficulty settings in some games nowadays, where you can tune each aspect of the game to your liking. Long story short, it's not just a good game for VR, it's a good game in general. If you like stealth and you can put up with high difficulty and minor bugs, you should absolutely pick this up.
