Interesting experience. I love planets so i had fun navigating through each planet and trying to figure out the lore. I can't say that the ending was satisfying at all though. I suppose it's just one of those stories wherein curiosity kills the cat. In my first time that I took a picture of the "false planet", I kept taking a picture simply because I was so curious about it. I was amazed by how it was moving and turning into some weird butthole. Then once I died, I was like "shit I shouldn't have done that" but I was playing a madman scientist who just wanted to know the truth about the nature of space. Then i tried different strategies (like taking a picture from far away) or whatever, but it just turns out that was the only ending. This was definitely one of those stories that applied the "Dark Forest" theory. Something is out there destroying things. The "false planet" is probably the entity that kills things that get too close (except the star but that's cuz the star is lucky). Then there are the weird gray moons with dots on it, which is just way too far from the false planet. I figured those might be the eggs or something of the entity because it had the same radio sound. Maybe it was still hatching in order to turn into a false planet as well. There's planets that sound like the harsh sounds of Venus (because Venus has harsh winds) or planets with weird sounds. Then you got these weird ass planets. I think in the fifth or fourth mission I remember taking a picture of a blue gas planet and there happened to be a planet in the corner and when I tried to find it it was gone. That was certainly a false planet. Overall, it's a good game and I found the mechanics kinda fun to use. It's a game I recommend to those who like unconventional horror. But the ending is not very satisfying, but I suppose it's to be that way.

Enjoyable at first then becomes extremely tedious with menus that slow down as the game goes on along with lowering power levels so you need to menu even more to mess with the power. I quit the game when I could only power two things as the game was no longer interesting enough to offset the tedium.

If you liked Iron Lung, chances are you'll like this too. This games nails the aspects of claustrophobia and cosmic horror to create an experience that feels unnerving from start to finish. The game's pretty short (I was able to beat it in just shy of an hour), but it definitely gets the job done; while also setting itself apart from just being an Iron Lung clone. The main objective of this game is to navigate through solar systems and photograph/record radio from various planets while managing limited power reserves which dwindle further as the game progresses. The sound design is great, and it does a good job of carrying the horror. I also think the old-school graphics set the tone nicely too. All in all; a solid experience.

Such a good game. Short and sweet but still packed full of atmosphere and suspense. Very Iron Lung esque. Would highly recommend, especially if you like cosmic horror.

Spend 40 minutes of your life (half of which you're gonna spend swapping power between systems) to find out that it's a spooky alien. I'm baffled that reviews for this tech demo is "Very Positive".

Slow-burn space exploration with a fascinating objective and effective atmosphere. Might require patience and a keen interest in the outdated, manual system controls. Piloting the vessel is repetitive, but you enter a comfortable rhythm. Honestly Incredible, that alien reveal at the end was great!
