this comment is made before full release , so take it with a bit of grain of salt .
TLDR:
This game is plain boring .Just wait for more updates.
No skill is needed . Just a sacrifice to the God of Random.
Long:
Nothing special , just one from the many that had copied some stuff from elsewhere .
The spells , are boring , only hitting from the front of the hero , most spells are boring and weak ,
Heroes are weak and boring.
Spells do not differ ,
Maps are , the same , with new assets and are always the same .
Structures are useful but only few of them.
Spells and powers relay too much on the God of Random , to be fun , almost 90% of the time you gona play 5-10 mutes and then reset cuz you got the shit end of the stuff.
Some spells don't connect with bosses ( Moriham orwhatever the beams are called ) i lost 1 run to that fact , and its fun , because you can level and transform One spell to max( lvl 3/3 ) and another spell to maybe 1/3 or 2/3 and that is if you took a lot of xp buffs when leveling up.
Few of the quests are boring as fuck , like you have to do 500 000 curse damage , while i managed to do almost 30-40k dmg per 30 minutes run . imaghow many times i had to do it .... This was so stupid that i was my last achievement to do for 100%....y
Boring ... and the quests lay on top of alot of randomness , you have to kill 6000 enemies , and there are not as many enemies on the map , if you dont have uber luck and get some mass murder aoe spells on lvl 5 to 10
There are , chests or rifts , that has to be done by killing enemies inside a very very small circle , imagin what happens wen most of the spells are aoe , and the mobs spawn at the edge of the screen .......
This should not be a mechanic , or simply has to be made the other way around , standing inside of it and killing em .....
ive lost 4 times to the rift stages where i simply do to much range and dmg and i just could not simply manage to make the angle to make the game spawn enemies inside the thing ....
Boring + frustrating ,
Music :
you got it Boring , plain and simple boring with no flavor at all.
Assets : boring , and probably from a free pack in the epic gamestore..
the game has no flavor , nothing to get you hooked ,
I should know i did the game to 100% so you wont have to go through that bog of a life sucking disaster .
like after 10 hours i had seen most of it , and i had almost no will to do 100% , but i had to do it so i can leave a review for it ( otherwise it dosent count if you ain't seen all it has to offer ) ....
It took me 30 hours to farm bullshit achievements , that required a lot of luck to get ,,,, no skill just luck

Very fun survivor like game, it has some interesting heroes to choose from and powers that come with them. But what really makes it stand out from other games in this genre is structures system, which let's you build different buildings that give you bonuses and help with fighting enemies. It's worth a try especially that it has free demo version available.
I had some issues when it came to syncing saves between computer and steam cloud, which made me lose my whole progress, but after posting on discord I got helped right away and my save got restored, so thank you again for quick response and I'm looking forward to see new things that will get added after the game leaves early access.

Graphics are excellent
Controls are crisp, and include an auto-aim option
No dashing!
Multiple characters to play
Structures add a great Tower-defense mechanic

Note: This is a simple review based on the game's Early Access mode as at 16.07.2025.
Pros:
1. Your save data from the demo does carry over to the actual game.
2. You unlock more "favors" or upgrades once you have purchased the game, even more in-depth upgrades than the demo.
3. Game seems to work fine with character unlock-ables for the first 10 maps (2 areas).
Cons:
1. Some frame rate issues. Stuttering at the beginning of each playthrough but smoothes over time.
2. Area 3 of 3: Battle fortress is still glitchy for some parts. Especially manual aiming which is just non-functioning. (As in, manual aiming does not work with the mouse at all; unsure if the developers are aware of the issue). Manual aiming is needed (at least for me) for higher levels, otherwise the character's main attack only attacks/shoots directly where he is facing instead of attacking/shooting in any directions whilst on the move.
3. Expect mobs like "They are Billions" on higher Hard mode maps. Just swarms of them, and they walk through floating nothingness like the skies beside a bridge, lava, etc.
Overall, I would say a good 30-40 hours of your time before you beat everything and need more content.
Currently at 25th hours, on last 2 more maps of the game (Area 3) but having difficulty finishing as the mouse' manual-aim feature is broken/ not functioning at all. (works perfectly fine in Area 1-2 only).

ANOTHA ONE. Quality survivor like that starts off a bit slower than its contemporaries while still giving you a good sense of progression and power scaling. Would like to see more variety in the items dropped and making the buildings more useful!
