Overall the game is average. Some of it was enjoyable but it is not a well managed, fine tuned and curated title. It feels messy and unpolished. The pace is not right (the game should have been twice shorter, you are stuck with regular weapons too long etc...), the exploration is not done well and is a chore, lots of tedium and repetitiveness, back and forths. The camera is regularly too close. The base brings nothing being a walkable area compared to a city screen on HoMM, except wasting time. The global experience is variable. Base tower defense is a bit annoying and doesn't add anything. Some moral choices. The units roster is nice and varied. Combat is ok. Monster size is a big problem at the end when you get large units of 3 to 7 hexagons, they will be blocked by terrain and blockades very frequently. I disliked that the enemy unit stacks go higher than yours. The main character keeps looking like an augmented hiker outside of combat irrespective of the mech armor equiped (that does change your appearance in fights).
I'm still going with a recommendation rather than not because I got twice the price in hours and I didn't have a bad time, I was rushing to finish it towards the end though.

I've rather enjoyed this game. I'm 20 hours in with a campaign I've been taking my time with.
The pros so far:
It clearly was a labour of love by it's developer and it really shows.
The game is like crazy spin on King's Bounty(Or Heroes of Might and Magic) with a hero that fights in combat as a unit with a fun art style that makes me nostalgic for the old days of extremely high effort flash games.
The combat is fun and challenging in a way that rewards tactical thinking and planning. Mixing and matching units as you unlock them is a lot of fun.
The story is also wild enough to keep the player engaged. There are also a lot of interesting choices you can make in the game with different reward or plot outcomes.
Cons:
Unit stacks have certain maximum sizes. I understand that this is control the difficulty of challenges but I would really like it if there was a way to increase those limits like a leadership stat like in King's Bounty or some upgrades beyond your tier one units or mutations of the local mutant fauna. I also wish there was a way to find upgraded DNA strains of some of the units you got on Earth.
Some things seem a little buggy or almost like the game dev didn't think about what would happen if the player did certain actions.
I've broken a couple quests. If you care about spoilers, please stop reading here.
TL/DR: Game is great and I highly recommend it if you like the art style and enjoy King's Bounty or Heroes of Might and Magic inspired games.
At a certain point you meet a couple primitive alien bug people tribes. They have some rather grotesque breeding methods and they're about to do unspeakable things to a pair of Japanese civies that arrived on the alien world before you. Because of this, when I met them I chose to eliminate them rather than pick a side in their little tribal war. What proceeded was the glorious but hard fought march of tanks, killer robots, and battle mechs descending into their lairs and destroying them except I was unable to free some humans that were held captive int heir lairs. In the screen shots above it looks like you can interact with these people but I guess I can't save them now because I've decided to go to war to save them? I think I broke the Japanese settlement at this point.
Then my wrath is stopped by some super alien that I can't beat at this point. He's too powerful and the game is very up front about this. Fair, okay. This alien then sends me on a mission to find a mad scientist that experiments on people to assist his little fertility problem.
I located this scientist and he sends me to kill a giant boss creature. At this time, I'm committed to the act of the hero so I kill the mad scientist man forcing humans through his crazy version of Fallout's FEV. It's a big battle but I manage to eke out a victory. I then got a little key and helped save the humans he had locked up. Cool, I really like that extra detail. The quest just kind of broke there. I can't go kill the super alien and go back and eliminate the remaining bugs in their lairs. The super alien just keeps telling me that I know what I must do.
It was entirely worth it though. My humanity **** yeah play through continues. Great game even with the above issue.

Well sadly cant recomend the game at this moment.
its obvious that the dev is passionate about this but here are some issue that ruined game for me
1) autosave doesnt work on alien planet (learned that the hard way)
2) some sentences make 0 sense (probobly google translator)
3) some quests can be softlocked if you dont do it in specific way
4) some npc enemiy rly need a fix, lost too many times to bloody monkies just cause the apply slip[pery all the time to bio unites
5) some tutorials poorly explain mechanics and so far didnt find a way to destroy trash items (like notes)
will update to possitive when it will improve
