It runs well on Steam Deck. The duel trackpads + sticks are paving the way for handheld controllers. My 14yr old nephew didn't know what RTS means which is insane yet understandable in 2025. So I'll explain for anyone who's unsure and their future children, God willing they decide to have any (fingers crossed.) Think of this game as an RTSS (Real Time Strategy Simulator). It does a great 2D pixel-art job of allowing you to play out WW2. Not sure why anyone would want to relive that experience, especially since it was supposed to be the war to end all wars (what the winners proclaimed to the world, then continued to go to war for the 70 years with multiple countries who they thought were weak enough to exploit, at least it seems in hindsight?) Anyway, pick a side and methodically... Strategically win the war. Try not to think about the 15 million souls who gave their lives for democracy, which is no longer democracy, more like $$$technocracy$$$ It's an immersive game, slow paced, requires patience. If you managed to tolerate reading this then you might make it past the main menu screen. Enjoy your journey, it goes by fast, much faster for some, hopefully you have more luck. Be good to others.
