The original Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far was brilliant, one of the best games I've ever played. It was a great combination of army-level strategy and company-level tactics, complete with factors such as logistics and how winning a battle in one sector affects your position in another sector.
This game is essentially that same game. Unfortunately, that also means the graphics and controls haven't been updated. This results in a game that feels very clumsy.
It's still playable, and a great reminder of how great the game was, but not something I'll be playing much of in the future. The graphics are a test of patience.
