I have to give this a thumbsup, as it's a great little shmup! I hope there will be more control customisation, as the Asteroids(1980) type controls won't be for everyone, including me with my sausage fingers! But it is immediately rewarding, and even better the longer that you play.

Requested a refund - was really enjoying the game, despite the crashes I'd experienced, but upon hitting the third, and possibly final, system in the game, progression is SO fundamentally broken, that it feels not possible to get further than the 2nd wave of the system. You either have to spec in an armour direction, with no ability to do damage (and, thus, get swarmed by enemies and die), or spec in a damage direction, with no ability to survive (and, thus, die in two rockets hits). The physics, which were relatively fun early on, caused their own problems as you pinball off asteroids around you either right into enemy fire or you come to a complete stop with no ability to gain enough forward momentum (or any forward momentum) to not die. It sapped every bit of enjoyment I was getting out of the game that I no longer wanted to deal with it anymore.

Combines the look and feel (ship centric display) of Asteroids, which I played on the Atari 7800 console in the early 90s, with modern elements (e. g. progression & reward system). Even as a casual gamer, I got into it quickly and the new features are motivating. My four-year-old son watched and also found it very exciting.

Early Impressions: As I've only played (single-player) up to beating the first boss (thrice) This one is definitely worth it at this price, especially if you enjoy these types of games. Pros: Asteroids-type rogue-like, chill and kinda 'turn off your brain' at first... but things do ramp up quickly. Progression seems fair with mainly speed, shield, and weapon upgrades to handle more varied enemy types. Very colorful visual effects while not being "too excessive" on the eyes. Cons: Controls take a bit to get used to -no controller menu layout, so a few moments of confusion at the start. Also no option to re-map buttons (as yet). Boss fight seemed a bit long, but that could just be me not knowing what I'm doing. Music is a bit repetitive, hoping there's more variation in future stages.
