Pretty fun game, the mechanics is smart and varying, your skills are different each time you come back to it. Every time you try to beat the same boss but you never get to fight the same way twice, so it doesn't get boring. You become stronger each time and eventually you start to solve a few puzzles from time to time, the transitions are smooth. It's a tiny studio but they delivered a good game. I can't wait to beat the boss once and for all.

Simple fun game. Smooth ride. Worth the buy. Playing games with Death is fun. Some of the games are challenging. There are quite a few 'games', and they are randomized. Everyone deserves a chance to fight death!

A very good game in it's already "common genre" (Bullet Hell /hack n Slash) ! BUT with a NEW TWIST instead of focusing more on the mobbing type then having boss every now and then, It instead focus on having a boss fight active "indefinitely" With some event mechanics in between phase and progression of the fight. The creator of this indie Game seems very passionate, so i would recommend to at least Give a shot in the Demo of this game. The game is kept updated often with good care of the game and feedback. It is good to know that the Demo progress is NOT transferable to the full game since the balancing is not exactly the same for both ( Good to note that its pretty fast to catch-up to even the potential max progression you have done in the demo ). The "End" meta progression is Original and have potential for further path years beyond!

Fans of roguelikes will recognize the boss patterns, but this game eliminates the usual corridors and mobs—it's just you, learning (and sometimes loathing) the boss's movements, and trying not to get obliterated by Death itself. If you're a fan of roguelike indie games crafted with care, One Boss One Fight is a must-try. With huge potential for future updates, this game is definitely one to watch. Enjoy the challenge

One Boss One Fight - A Surprisingly Addictive Indie Gem I love little indie games to kill some time, and I found this one thanks to a friend. The game takes you straight to hell, literally. No warmup, no minions to slice through, just the boss right in front of you from the get-go. If you've played other games with boss patterns, it's like that but without the corridors and mobs inbetween. It's just you learning (and hating some of) the patterns and figuring out how not to get obliterated by Death itself. The progression system is neat, even if it's not perfect. After about 20 hours of gameplay (which is pretty great for a €10 indie game), I've unlocked a bunch of abilities that keep things interesting. The developer is quite active and is constantly fixing issues. I've had some really broken but fun runs, it felt like playing 'The Binding of Isaac' when you get the right items and combinations of constellations! The "constellations" the system allow the game to be really good, it's like managing your stuff modificator on diablo or death must die. Should you focus on critical chance and damage or maybe lost a little bit of dps to gain more heal potential? For hardcore fans, there's a hardcore mode that's a real challenge. Maybe a bit too hard, as I can't progress with items anymore. Might be a skill issue on my part (i think so) time to git gud. Visually, the scenery changes multiple times, and the graphics are nice. The sound is good but can get a bit repetitive after a while. So yeah, if you love roguelike indie games made with love, go for it! It's at least 20 hours of fun!
