I finally can go further than i did my demo! I'm just in love with this game, cause usually i find myself thinking in turn based rpg only for first half an hour and then is just a cake walk Here everything is so tightly balanced that it makes every little decision really matter. I haven't died a lot but it feels like i'm living always on the edge tho when i got second squad with moon magic girl - for me it was really steep dificulty spike, but it was due to her having whopping 3 new spells that i didn't use initially>< So if you really up to the challenge and ready to git gud, then that's the way^^

A cool RPG puzzle, with a bunch of mechanics that don't let you get bored and keep you on your toes all the time. However, I would also note this as a minus. Over time, there are so many of them that it's hard to cope with everything. I played the demo in the spring, this one stayed, but alas, I didn't remember what was going on at all, what all this was. I had to start over. But still, the game amazes with such an abundance of mechanics and the freedom of action and tactics created by them.

I was looking forward to the game's release after playing the demo. I love RPG, and it was nice to see so many mini-games that diversified it. However, there are a lot of them, and everything is not so simple. Fortunately, the game gives you the opportunity to gradually learn everything. That's why there is a feeling that you have learned something difficult, and now you can brag about it to your friends. I also liked the chemistry between the characters. And I was pleasantly surprised that their interaction is not just words, but also a gameplay solution. If you have long been looking for an unusual game of this genre with an underground setting, an author's style and a good story - be sure to play it!

🌟 Two Hours In, and Hooked! 🌟 I’ve only spent about 2 hours in Mycelium so far, but I’m already loving how the game brings depth and complexity to every aspect. At first glance, the art style might seem simple, but don’t let that fool you—this game has some serious strategic layers! What stands out the most to me is how gameplay and story are intertwined. Your actions in battle directly affect the characters and their relationships, which adds a whole new level of immersion. It’s not just about beating the enemies; it's about managing your party, balancing their strengths, and figuring out how their personalities fit together in and out of combat. The quick mini-games are a really fun addition—they make each character's unique abilities feel like direct actions, whether you’re casting magic, lockpicking, or even playing a lute. These little details kept me engaged and made each encounter feel fresh. Plus, the battle system has this intense, defensive vibe. Overall, Mycelium manages to balance challenging gameplay with a fascinating story. I’m excited to see where the journey takes me, and I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try if you’re into strategic RPGs with a lot of heart!

Mycelium is an example of a very good use of limited resources by the developer. While graphical fidelity is obviously not the strong suit of the game, and the amount of written dialogue isn't nowhere near enough to match larger RPGs, the core mechanics and the storyline is carried through by its solid foundations and the game is still (usually) pleasant to look at as a result of a consistent art direction and a well-picked focus on low resolution pixel art. The combat systems have quite a decent amount of depth compared to other examples in the genre of tactical strategy and are for the most part fairly well balanced and don't get stale for the duration of the game. The upgrades feel meaningful, the resource management doesn't get completely invalidated as the game goes on (although it becomes way easier once your characters get strong enough). The strongest side of Mycelium are the characters and the worldbuilding, albeit the latter leaves a lot of unresolved questions that admittedly don't really all need to be resolved. Characters interact with each other, react to situations in and out of combat. They have their own agendas, personalities and they subvert the character tropes that you could initially suspect from them. My only complaint in regards to the story was the fact that the ending felt like it was too brief - while all the character threads were somewhat resolved, their resolutions I feel weren't really explored to their full potential, leaving the ending slightly unsatisfying. Definitely worth your money and time Ну и просто приятно после того как наш игродел на весь мир опозорила Смута увидеть что все таки талант у нас есть, и не казенный (я надеюсь)

Wow it's a cool game! The music is soothing and I like how turned-based gameplay is combined with fun minigames. Even searching a locker feels like a small riddle! The world is very rich in details and those little flashy animations are so so charming and colorful aww

Don't look at my playtime, I've played a ton of hours on Itch. This is a true hidden gem. Tactics battles of Into the Breach + unique mini games and unusual subversion of game tropes of Undertale. Interesting story, unique characters with their own abilities and mini games. You get a lot for such a low price.

Very interesting characters and storyline, I loved that my actions really affected their stories. Turn-based combat is well suited for me, it's engaging and doesn't make me nervous (as real time combat does).
