I'm one of the beta testers that finished the game completely and let me tell you, I love it. I did guess a twist, which I will leave for you all to discover yourselves as the result is very worth it, but the guess ultimately came from putting in more hours and uncovering more story as I progressed. Aqatillion does a fantastic job with both its character arcs and narratives. You'll find yourself far more immersed in the story than you even thought you were!
I don't just recommend it because I beta tested it. Or because I have a cameo. I recommend Aqatillion because it's a game that is not only fully worth your time and attention, but enjoyable for every step of the journey. The devs have a clear love and knowledge for RPG classics, which altogether makes this one of my all time favorite games.
