Fine at first. Run of the mill horror walking sim but you don't really expect too much originality from these sorts of games.
I got stuck on the combo lock puzzle but couldn't think of any other patterns to try (I've since looked it up and it still doesn't make any sense even in retrospect) so I thought maybe it was just bugged and needed to quit out to the main menu. I load back in and I'm put back into the game where I was 40 minutes prior. Zero saves between entering the lady's apartment and entering the locked room. How is that even possible when there's tons of checkpoint-able moments throughout that whole time like acquiring key items, triggering scripted events, etc?
I'd consider just speedrunning back through, but like someone else said you move as though you're trudging through a swamp. Horrible game design on these accounts. Bummer cause the "creature" design was pretty cool actually, but I can't support a game that is this poorly thought out.

I love indie horror games with a passion. This game is the most frustrating of walking simulators by a margin. I wasn't able to make it to the end just to give it a full play through. Every step of the way is more frustrating than scary. I saw only one jump scare that caught me off guard.
To start off, the pace is painfully slow. Living on the 6th or 7th floor while walking at a snail pace, then having to take trash out is mind numbing. On top of that, cleaning the apartment took almost 20 minutes since everything is so dark, even on the highest brightness. I didn't realize for the longest time that there was a bedroom behind the office or a bathroom since you can't see the doors. Then there are translation errors. With these, I don't really dock anything since they are good enough. Several pictures are in what looks potentially like mandarin, and some of the English translations need some work with grammar. When writing the novel, I got stuck on that jump scare for almost 5 minutes before I knew you could look behind. I finally just stopped at the Witch's apartment since it soft locked where there is crying and a rocking chair. I'm guessing there is a trigger event, but it never happens. By this point, I was too frustrated, so I called it quits.
Advise for the dev: Optimize lighting and shaders a bit. Even on the highest graphics settings, shaders were still loading in during the initial cut screen. Also increase walk speed or give the option to run. Just those small things would make a tremendous difference.
As this stands at the moment, I cannot recommend this, but maybe if some of the issues are addressed, I'll revisit it in the future. I really would like to finish the story.
