My Review: Easily the best version of the game, the 50 challenges is amazing and has variety. A bit on the glitchy side, but in the big picture it is an amazing game, only out a few hours and I've already spent 4 hours playing. The new assets of Father Fouras make the game very interesting. Highly recommend for any Fort Boyard fan. Suggestion for the future: Even though it has disappeared, I recommend adding the event Cylindres as it is a memorable event in Fort Boyard.

[b] [h1] So, the fourth version of this Fort Boyard game has been released. Now I will highlight the main advantages and disadvantages of the game and the bugs that I found. [/h1] [/b] [h2] Let's start with [b] the advantages [/b] of the new version of the game: [/h2] [h3] 1) A large number of challenges. [/h3] Taking into account the addition of 10 new challenges to this version of the game, there are 50 challenges in total, which makes the game very diverse with each new playthrough, and this is good. [h3] 2) The perk system. [/h3] The perk system allows you to diversify each new game that you start even more. Before starting the game, you are asked to choose 1 of 6 perks that will work throughout the game. You can choose it yourself or do it randomly. Some perks can simplify the game or complicate it, or do both throughout the playthrough, which makes the game very unpredictable. For example, the Poisoned gift perk before each challenge gives you a simplification or complication. Let's say you might get a chance to win 2 keys or clues if you pass the challenge. But you may also get a card that tells you that in the next challenge you cannot leave the room until you get the key or clue, which means there is a huge chance of getting into the fort prison. This is where the advantages of this game end. [h2] Let's move on to [b] the disadvantages [/b] of the game: [/h2] [h3]1) Some new challenges are too simple even at the maximum difficulty level.[/h3] This is especially true for such new challenges as Pirate Planks, Catacombs, Bank and Garage. [h3]2) No new music in new challenges.[/h3] All new challenges feature music that doesn't fit the specific call in any way. For example, in new challenges (Garage, Bank, Catacombs, Capstan), the main theme of Fort Boyard plays and it does not fit there at all and is very annoying. [h3]3) No new characters in 5 years. [/h3] This is the fourth version of this game and so far we still can only choose from four characters to play . So far, there is no character customization in the game (Except for the Ghosts of the past perk, which dresses the entire team in old clothes from the 1990s). [h3]4) The leaderboard only works offline.[/h3] In this game leaderboard can only show your results with your team name and how much boyards you got. This leaderboard not showing you the results of other players like the Fort Boyard game from 2019 version. The 2020 version of the game have leaderboard as well but its not working since the release :). So there are literally no motivation to play in this game and collecting as many boyards as possible as long as Leaderboard still not showing nicknames of other Steam players and how much Boyards they got in one run. [h3]5) Only one player can play in the Treasure room.[/h3] In Treasure room can play only one player even if you playing together with someone with 2 controllers. It sucks that only one player can collect Boyards while the other player just watching you. It would've been great if when you playing with someone together you can collect Boyards together as well by playing different characters. Split screen system in Treasure room can solve the problem. [h3]6) Same game breaking bug from old version of the game from 2022.[/h3] There are some bugs in this game. For example, when i won a duel against Time Master during my playthrough 2 times in Long mode i got 2 min and 30 seconds for Treasure Room but when i won third duel the timer added me time from 2 minutes to 2 min and 15 seconds when its supposed to be 2 minutes and 45 seconds in total. And with the perk Poisoned gifts i got 2 extra duels in Long run mode and i won all 5 duels and supposed to have 3 minutes and 15 seconds in total, i got only 2:30 because of this bug. [b] Another bug in challenge Switchman - the water clock is always invisible. [/b] [b] In Casino challenge something wrong with mouse sensitivity. Even with a huge DPI its really hard to keep the balance. In previous verison of the game (2020) it was way playable. My friends, who played in Remote play with the gamepad in Casino cant keep balance at all because of how hard it is to keep the balance. [/b] There are a few more bugs in the game as well but its more like vusial bugs but they are not as sirious as the first one i described. [h1] CONCLUSION [/h1] This is still the best version of Fort Boyard games out of all 4 of them and i still recommend this one to buy, [b]but i will change this review to a positive one ONLY AFTER these bugs will be fixed and when the Leaderboard will be an online one like in 2019 version of the Fort Boyard game from Microids so you can see top 10 players from Steam who got more Boyards. [/b]
