I really like the games from QubicGames. Bucket Crusher is a very simple cube game where you earn money for making your saw, finishing the level, and restarting.
Just Another Lazy Port
Qubic Games is at it again: porting mobile games to PC like they’re some kind of a big deal.
And Bucket Crusher is no exception.
A cute idea, marketed as a “zen game,” with minimalist visuals, ASMR-like sounds, and chill vibes.
But let’s not fool ourselves, this isn’t meditation. It’s just grinding.
Gameplay
You move a crusher and watch everything fall apart as the numbers go up.
At first?
It’s mildly satisfying.
The first 10 minutes feel like a trap, like watching slime videos on loop.
But then...
Upgrades become pointless.
The pace slows to a crawl.
Repetition kicks in.
And once you’ve 100%'d it, you’re left staring at the screen, wondering at what point this ever seemed like a good idea.
Conclusion
Bucket Crusher is the perfect example of what happens when you port a casual mobile game to PC without adapting it.
It works on a phone, great for killing time in a waiting room.
But on PC?
Just... no.
