Fantastic game. I used to play this a lot when visiting my friends, and we'd always take the last place because the ai was ruthless. now, coming back at it after so many years, i still find it charming and surprisingly good
Re-Volt – The Game That Almost Destroyed My Childhood (and My PC)
Re-Volt was the perfect recipe for nostalgia and chaos: toy cars, insane tracks, and enough speed to make your head spin. I spent 17 hours straight playing this gem as a kid, racing through toy-filled cities with no care for sleep, food, or, apparently, the well-being of my PC. It literally overheated and burned out by the time I finished my marathon, but hey, at least I was living the dream of driving a remote-controlled car in a virtual world.
Verdict: 9/10, it was worth the PC meltdown. 🚗🔥

I bought this game way back in 1999. One of my first PC games. I absolutely loved it, played it often back then, and found myself periodically coming back to it. This game still has exceptional physics by today's standards and its graphics were sharp for its day. I cannot recommend the Steam version though. Is having functioning servers for online play too much to ask for?
