Cool short indie FPS game with horror elements. I think the game modifiers should have a short or vague description about what they do.

This game it´s short but it´s really fun at the same time, i was walking through corridors and the atmosphere was real and every asset made it more immersive, the enemies don´t have a lot of variations but with the short amount of enemy types the game knows well how to make it a little challenging by putting the enemies in convenient spots that makes the player be aware all the time when checking a corner. It was a really pleasant experience.
P.S. Screw those crawling little disgusting things (if you play the game you will know what i mean by that)

While I'll keep the review below, I just wanted to point out that apparently the issue I ran into with the final boss is because of a bug. It's being fixed, so that's awesome.
Pretty simple FPS with a small similarity to PSX graphics. I enjoyed it up until the final boss, but man that bottle is just absolutely a collection of frustration moments. Your crucifix, despite several upgrades, never really becomes a weapon that feels like it does much damage. So fighting a floating dude and his minions becomes this tedious collection of moments that I only attempted a few times before deciding I'd had enough.
Moving on though, overall this is a fun FPS experience. The level design is pretty much a basic house of sorts, nothing spectacular. The atmosphere is quite well done though. I would not say there's ever a moment that I was scared, but it's obvious there are a few areas that a jump scare was intended. I think they were well placed, they just weren't particularly scary.
Overall it's a rather short FPS that has some well written moments, mostly enjoyable combat, and great atmosphere.

This game is really, really dull in my opinion.
The single weapon that you get in the first play through of the game doesn't feel like you are blasting the possessed with Holy energy,
It feels more like you are poking at them with a fairy wand.
Upgrading the weapon is just a simple damage buff that visually and audibly does not come off as a satisfying improvement.
The level design is functional with the occasional maze like area but it's endless dark corridors with really no interactive elements apart from the standard kill enemies, get keys, and activate a locked doors. It recycles two jumpscares, a television set turning and a clock suddenly chiming and they just blend into the background just like the rest of the ambience.
The enemies aren't much to look at;
Two of the same looking guys (One walking the other crawling),
A woman that fires easy to block projectiles.
And a fat guy in a wife beater that's "fast".
All of them are easy to kill and the only ones that are a nuisance are the crawling enemies as they group up occasionally and basically lock on to your location which feels cheap.
Then it comes to the boss battle which I feel highlights all the problems of the game in one room.
It's a rather average battle of attrition that can be cheesed for the most part by standing in the corner of the room shooting at a guy floating in the centre only to move when the adds spawn in and with that he dies in a really anticlimactic fashion, no new form or cutscene, just disappearing with a tiny blood splatter leaving a key to the exit and the end of the game.
All in all, it's cheap but not really entertaining for a fan of these types of games.

A love letter to old shooter games, this title perfectly encapsulates the feeling of old shooters. Though the game is straightforward in its mechanics, it never succumbs to monotony. Instead, it thrives on its simplicity, allowing players to focus on the fast-paced action and intricate level designs reminiscent of the golden era of shooters.
