Only done one run through but a very fun twist on the series already. LOVE all the nerdy con aspects that I remember from my own con experiences. If you love the franchise and cons, you'll have a blast!

I remember listening to the trailer over and over again before and after the game came out. It's so catchy and fun to listen to! Though, there are time the characters don't appear on my screen when they're talking, I imagine that will be fixed up. I'm still having so much fun with the game and even got a friend who's never played to enjoy and even be interested in buying the game!
It's as funny and chaotic as I always hope for in the Monster Prom franchise. Love the characters, their stories and design.

Easily the best game in the series thus far. I was worried the new characters weren't going to be as iconic or funny as the previous games (much like how I personally felt about Monster Camp), but these characters are as hilarious as ever! I will say to be careful with the Gachapon portion of the game! I ended up getting one that made my character have explosive diarrhea for the rest of the con!!

Absolute Cinema. I love Liam. I've been loving him since Monster Prom but he is now at his peak with this awsome cast of lovable weirdos. Thanks to this game all my friends had a lot of fun. My "I only play peak" friend played this game and he liked it.
It still feels like a Monster Prom game, but it has a lot of nice updates. The new store is really fun. The art has improved, the soundtrack is amazing, and as someone who goes to cons, this game really makes me feel that I was in one. The humor is on its peak; each character is funny in their own way.
I think this game has the best cast, as everyone knows each other in a friendly and has their own dynamics. They make each other shine by interacting between them. I also like how the dynamic with the protagonist has kind of changed since the first game. On the first game, the mc mostly only interacts with their love interest in a mostly one-sided way (which is part of the humor so it's nice) but in Monster Con the mc feels like part of the friend group, which overall makes the game more immersive and makes the cast feel more lively.
Also, the designs are so peak. April has one of the best clown designs I've seen in all of fiction. Have I said I love Liam? Because I love Liam and he is the best boy.

This honestly might be the best game in the series so far.
Like obviously they've been steadily getting better as they go on but it was a gradual thing. This is SIGNIFICANTLY better in terms of game play and variability and I already thought the first monster prom had those locked down.
It's much more of a video game than the boardgame-feel that the others had and honestly I like it! The stats being more obscured (but still offering a manual if you're into that) makes it feel so different, in a good way!
I really like the new characters and all the artistic detail that went into the existing cast. The cosplay choices? The fandom discussions?? Its so good. Its so so good.
Obviously the comedy is great but that's a given at this point, the references though?? So much fandom history is just casually thrown in and it catches me off guard every time. Wonderful writing

Without a doubt, the BEST game of the Monster Prom Saga. Its a much calmer game but it still includes the risk that the first two games set us up with. And with friends, the experience is multiplied by a factor of 2 - 4 times.

Doug is so cute and beautiful, oh man... God, I never thought I'd fall in love with a video game character, but he... a slime boy - my ideal type. And he's from a game too - it's just perfect. Every night before I fall asleep, I imagine that Doug and I are married. We have two (adopted) kids - a boy and a girl. Every evening we spend time together, talking about all sorts of things in a cozy, homely atmosphere. One day, I'll propose to my beloved slime boy Doug. We'll love each other for the rest of our lives. And just like in a dream, we'll have kids - a boy and a girl. I'll spend whole days with them, playing in the yard of our modest house by the ocean. I'll push them on the swings, lifting them so high they could almost touch the clouds. Someday... I'll marry Doug. He's my ideal, my idol. If only he were real - he'd be the best husband anyone could ever imagine. Long story short - Doug is the best character.
