Good Game to play if you are a sailing person, But not if you have never sailed an actual sailing boat before. its been years since I sailed, and found this nearly true to facts of winds , ocean current ect, and the dev has certainly gone into this deap, but have found as you don't really get alot of money to start, suppose to be 20000 but actually you get 10000, that maybe a bug thats been over looked but not good , I managed one contract and was broke, as provisions cost to much so that needs to be put right, need to be able to start the game with proper provisions and the amount of sailors to aid you. which I found you need at least 2 , 1 for days the other for night shift , cant be expected to be at the helm 24/7 may be good idea to have a help menu for those who do not know how to sail against the wind All in all a good game, just needs a few tweaks , Graphics are good. effects are quite good as well.

again a sailing game with random winds.... Just another game like sailwind that spawns headwinds whenever, wherever. This one at least has AI crew that you can use to control the sails and helm and pump.... It is BARE BONES theres nothing you can do. you can sail and do some very basic trading but you'll get REALLY bored after your 5th route, because there's only mediteranean ports. AND RANDOM WINDS!

This game is very relaxing but still quite early in development. It is nice to sea the developers updating this game regularly. I am eagerly waiting what this game will bring in the future. Hopefully it will surpass Sailwind.

Super realistic sailing simulator with really promising features. The full world is steadily being populated with ports. The ships are models of real-world ships. These two features add a lot of immersion to the game. The range of weather is phenominal - Sometimes you're stuck in almost no wind, hoping for something to happen, and other times it's all-out storms.

Great sailing game! By the time it has had as much dev time as Sailwind, Sail The Seas will be one of the best. Dev constantly updates the game!

In London, with only a few pounds in me wallet, I purchased some water and food and took on the most modest contract on offer. Then, on a fresh sunny morning, I deployed the tops, the jib, the stay and the main, and set out in my trim little sloop. When I got to the channel, a storm brewed up. Not what a poor sailor needed. Leaving little sail deployed, I struggled through the nearly blinding rain, lightening crossing the sky, and tried not to capsize, eventually heading south. I was very happy when, after a patient struggle and through the rain, I glimpsed the French coast drawing near. The sun was sinking, but I had not. The rain was growing weaker, and so was I. I removed all sail and dropped both anchors just off the coast. Then it was at last time to sleep. When I awoke, the storm had passed and the sun was up. But the wind was faint. I can, and must, sail this thing. But lacking enough wind to turn her, I dropped the anchor away and used the winch to point her south. But the wind didn't pick up all day. A sailor doesn't always get everything he wants. I won't be giving up (and needless to say I surely won't be refunding). There's a lot to like here already, and I take this game seriously, and I think the game merits that. Two salt-encrusted thumbs way up!
