Absolutely terrible game! Truck doesn't feel connected to the road most noticeable is on the motorway (yes I was sticking to the speed limits and slowing down for the bends). I was using a wheel too, got no feed back from it either or very little, even though I had the settings to the max. graphics are nothing to scream about, if anything they're just as bad!! wish I'd never brought this. waste of money!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, it is far from being ready for sale, the keyboard buttons don't do what you tell them and trying to control the truck is an absolute nightmare, the idea concept is good but this needs to be taken off sale and re worked majorly.

Pros: - superb graphics - love the sounds - the cities feel big and complex - you can also drive vans, not just big trucks like in ETS Cons: - missing triple screen support. If you have a nice sim rig and expect an immersive experience you will be terribly dissapointed - no virtual mirrors. You will have to constantly move the view with the mouse to check your mirrors and I tend to loose sense of direction when I do crashing the truck - the force feedback on the wheel is terrible. No stiffness at all, random vibrations with no apparent reason - random traffic pop-in - traffic AI is pretty bad. In 30 mins of game-play I've seen a car refusing to move and blocking an intersection, cars moving slow blocking both lanes and refusing to overtake, etc - very few tips on how to play, like what do you do if you run out of gas - the forum on steam seems deserted. Questions go unanswered for months - it's already been in early access for 3 years now, so I hope you are not in a hurry Conclusion: I was very dissapointed by the lack of 3 screen support and the lack of virtual mirrors. It's just not fun to drive because of that. It's a deal-breaker for me. I can either refund it, or keep it and wait a few more years to the stuff to be implemented. Hard choice. Either way, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have bought it.

At this point, I can't recommend. There is a huge potential in this game, however the gameplay and optimization needs a lot of improvement. The concept, the cargo loading and walking around are cool features. However, the truck feels more like sliding on the road and controls on a steering wheel feel quite snappy, so play around with dead zones a bit. I also found a game breaking bug which basically glued my truck to the road and it stopped reacting to any steering input physically, while the outside camera clearly showed the wheel movements. This broke my most progressed save game forever. So at this point this game is a highly overpriced beta version of what could potentially be a good game in the future. Also needs mods and a multiple countries on the map.

This game is fun and it has few better features that are better than ETS2 but then there are the other things that just make this game horrible to play. GOOD : - You can get out and walk around , Swing your doors , Fill the tank. - You start with a Straight Box Truck (Ridged) - Game runs smooth. Bad : - It's Germany - Traffic NEVER changes lanes. - You do not see your company trucks on the highways. - Graphics are not bad , but not good either. - Sound cuts out at times. (The Truck horn was stolen from Rigs of Rods game) Ugly : - The game needs more content. you have 2 trucks (Scania /MAN and 4 options each on the trucks - Game feels likes it's just time locked in 2012. - Game does not get updated enough. Closing : This game is not bad , it's playable , but don't expect much. it pains me to give SCS any business , but just buy Euro Truck Simulator 2. Is it worth a buy ?? -- NO This game is a pass and there are better simulators out there. this game has changed since release , but not enough to warrant a purchase .

I recommend this game, but with a few notes that Ithink it's missing, generally it's a good game, more on that later, first what I think should be improved: * More variations in AI traffic, as in more models and more colour variations overall. * Tweak the AI so it's not so suicidal. * Add pedestrians. * Tweak the force feedback for steering wheels a bit so that you can sense bumps and uneven terrain, right now there is no resistance, and all you can feel is when you crash into something. * Add physical cabin and seat suspension. * Add trailers, containers, trucks and dirt to terminals. - Generally I think the world is a bit to tidy and clean opposed to what you see in real life. * Improve physics so that you can feels you're driving a truck, right now there is no motion in dampers or cabin which gives more of a race car feeling when driving. My list seems long and maybe people wonder how I can recommend it, easy answer to that is that the good things are really good, like interaction with trailers, you're able to leave the truck, in fact you have to in order to load/unload, fuel up etc, the graphics are great, a bit jerky here and there, but with a little bit of tweaking it will be perfect, imo this beats ETS2 vanilla graphics... Oh, one more thing, there are no pedals in the trucks, like the old SCS models, those details matter, please can we have pedals ??

Hello guys. I bought the game on steam and I must say I'm impressed. The game handles way better than expected. However there are things that have to be done. If you guys don't mind I'll make a list right here. :More static cameras for the interior of the truck, now you are pushed against the steering wheel. :Brake sensetivity, You cant really control how hard the truck brakes. :Decent mouse control for who ever likes to steer the truck with their mouse. I've tried alot of different settings but I just cant get it right. :Better dynamic lightning of the lights on the truck. For instance, turnsignals are bearly visible from the outside of the truck. :Maybe some doors that you can really open and close. Open and close the doors of your trailer to inspect whats inside. I bet that wont be everything but these are the things that i took a notice of and would be really cool to see in the near future! It's all about the details! Just take your time and this game will be awesome!

Since this is a early acces, there is a lot to do. However, this game has the potential. The driving mechanics are pretty good, I didn't expect that since I put more then 350 hours in ETS2. Give this sim a change, there are many things to add in the upcomming patches which they addressed!

No wheel support? Even if it`s Early Stage, it is a must if you make a game with trucks to drive. I had to remove my G27 in order to be able to navigate thru menu. No support for Track IR 5. Poor menu. Can`t hear the AI traffic sounds, and also the truck has no real sound. There is too much work ahead for this game and i`m sure that this game will never be completed. Same fate as Fernbus Simulator. Premium price, premium price for a bus also and poor development. This game is heading into that direction. Not recomended.

The game is a paid beta-version actually. Couple of ideas are good, but realisation is poor. ETS beats you in terms of ingame depth. When I play ETS - I feel that I drive a truck. When I play On the Road - I feel like riding a carton box on steroids. Br-r-r-r... Not the feeling you expext from a SIMULATOR game. You tag your game as Realistic. In which part exactly? You can violate all the rules and... nothing happens. Dear devs - you got my money. Spend them well - buy ETS2 engine and add your cargo system. That'll be a hit! If guys from SCS will add your loading system to ETS2- you're in deep trouble... =)
