As far as idle games go, Astrodle is fine. For a few bucks, I got 14 hours of game out of this, playing through once in each of the active/passive modes, 100%'ing both times, with a couple of hours of idling in the latter playthrough being the only real inflation of my time.
It's strengths lie in its presentation, the fairly flawless execution of its well-tread idea, and it's got some novel ideas, especially in the small differences in how you gather some of the resource types -- a few of these are novel good, one is particularly novel bad.
Personally, my recommendation hinges entirely on how idle vs. incremental you like your games. If you like to set things up and watch number go up, then Astrodle is definitely worth the couple bucks it takes to experience. From the interface to the gameplay, every inch is a well-polished, shiny delight, with a lot of data available to the player that I wish other incremental games could take cues from. It dips its toes into a combo system, gives shades of player expression, but mostly it's a relatively satisfying and familiar loop of harvest - upgrade - prestige - repeat that we all well know, without any real twists on the formula.
But if you're in this genre for something more interactive and incremental instead of idle, then give Astrodle a skip. It's no Orb of Creation or Crank; what you see is what you will always get.

What a wonderful 'little' idler game! The ending was honestly a bit of a trip(or hell) and I really wasn't expecting it!

The perfect idle game -- the kind where you do stuff. A nice idler to pick up for a weekend, very satisfied with it

Super dope game. It is an idler but with very interesting challenges that make you think outside of the box. Ascensions are actually interesting choices for what you are trying to accomplish instead of just a waste of time/padding the game. Drones Only has some neat twists on the drones you used previously giving it a new flavor.
Warning, it is not as idle as some might like. I was pretty dang active 90% of the time and then went to bed with the game on. I imagine you get a lot more playtime if you just kinda go casual but I got into it and went a bit hard. Time to completion is about -6 hours
Extremely recommended and inspiring for me.

Fun idle game, with a good plot. Doesn't just run forever, feels like it has content to fill it's runtime.

Starts as a pretty active incremental, and upon completion opens up into an idler.
Great and very diverse mechanics in both modes, pretty to look at, and well, there's a story, but numbers go up!
One of the best i've played in a long while.

Astrodle is a clicker/idle game.
In this game you have to collect an insane amount of essences from each zodiac signs and your goal is to become a God. The story is somewhat interesting, sometimes funny but mostly repetitive. The gameplay is in a similar fashion, but at least there's two modes (the second one is a copy of the first, more idle and with some things switched up to accommodate the different mechanic of removing your laser.)
The reason I'm giving it a negative review is because first of all, I never really felt like any sense of progress. The second reason is the AI of those drones, it's as if they do EVERYTHING to prevent you from collecting the essences you need and finishing the harder missions. The Cancer and the Pisces essences we're so annoying to get... I've rarely seen an idle game become frustrating. Then after every reset (travelling to the next star, which is the same level with more bonuses) you obviously have to do the same thing again! The lack of variety might've not helped this game.
Talking about missions, especially in the story mode, that's where my biggest gripe lies. A few of them require some very specific circumstances to complete and combining the RNG of the spawns, the tediousness of Cancer/Pisces essences and especially the Virgo essences with a self-inflicted limit of 3 essences at once on the screen... Yeah, it was all but fun. Minutes and hours spent hoping that stuff aligns and sometimes spending a lot of time on it just to have the drone be like 'haha, nope!' Soured the entire experience if I'm honest.
Overall, an OK clicker/idle game that is more tedious than fun. Also somewhat short (main story is 7 hours long.)
