Kind of a gimpy deck building game. Not tower defense, at all.

There are severe balancing issues. early in the game i've found myself stuck from the inability to fight off waves of soldiers as well as not having a way to fight off newer types of soldiers. theres not enough time in between waves adding to the balancing issue and preventing any possibility of survival.

As many other reviewers are saying this is a blatant rip off of Plants Vs. Zombies. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. I love Plants Vs. Zombies. Robowars does introduce two forms of currency--power and money. Power lets you build and rebuild towers during play. However you purchase a number of 'money towers' at the beginning and are limited to that number through the current game. Buy too few--too bad you lose. That means you wasted all that money too. SO you get to go back to earlier levels and grind out more money to buy more 'money towers'. And if you're thinking like I did--I'll just handle the level with only 'power towers', Good Luck. Thanks to the very slow recharge of your towers (including 'money towers') and the fast attack waves, you will be overwhelmed pretty quickly. Even when you make headway, one mis-step and it's back to grinding money. I don't mind a challenge. I like a challenge. But when you're simply overwhelmed with speed, lack of funds and very slow charge rate--it's just no fun.

A Dev that even dont has a website ... A game that crashes when you enter the shop, so that you have to end it via taskmanager. A Gamemechanic that was stolen by others and redone in the worst and most amateurish way you can imagine. Its IMPOSSIBLE to even do the first tutorial mission without before having been in the shop ... which leads to a game hang up, as already said. I bet it was a microtransaction based former mobile game without any sucess! Even worse then most russian socalled Indie Games and that means a lot. A total Rip off and again Steam shows that they do not give a shit about the quality of the products they sell. Definetly not worth 1% of its price even so it has trading cards. Dev ... look fast for another job! You can keep my dollar (had a 90% coupon) ... cause you will need it, I hope you have any other skills then developing games, otherwise your live will be very sad!

A Plants vs Zombies rob job that completely falls flat, partly due to having none of the charm of the original, but mainly because it tries to differentiate it'self by going for fast gameplay, a decision that doesn't gel well with it's having a really laggy and unresponsive UI. Seriously I've played browser games that are better than this.
