If you're looking for a Diablo-esque retro game, look no further

I’m sure it has some nostalgia value for those who grew up with flash games, but it’s just very clunky and not fun to play

No minimap, no direction where to go, only clickable no WASD. Straight up bad.

After three hours of playing this game here's my review of the game. I used to play this game a long time ago on the internet when I was just scrolling through random Flash games and found this game. When I played it I didn't get very far when I was younger because the PC I used at the time was old. I made it to the village but it crashed when I made it there. A few years later I got this game and decided to play it again. you play as this guy in the Middle Ages who gets into an island and does a favor for the king for his freedom. You get to the island and fight people like villagers, soldiers, cows with weapons, knights, and bosses. There are 4 chapters in this game. The first chapter has you fight against villagers, the second chapter has you fight against soldiers, the third chapter has you fight against cows with weapons, and the last chapter has you fight against Paladins. The game is a bit of a Diablo-style game where you use the mouse to click on enemies to hit them. You get items like potions, mana potions, potions that increase attributes for a limited amount of time, and spells that do different things. When you level up you get points that are used to level up different attributes. The enemies in this game can be tough at times. Some enemies can 1 damage and can take a long time to die so be patient when you play this game. I sometimes found the game boring since you mostly go through villages in the game, but I still had fun with it. You do find a guy you can buy items from that you can buy and sell items from but he has limited space to how much he can put into this inventory. You can pick up jewelry that you use to sell to him. Some enemies are immune to different elements of attack so the special weapons you have use them when you have them on them. There are treasure chests where you can get items from them and one chest requires you to get something to use it. When you die the game doesn't auto-save so manually save your game when you are at a safe place because If you die you start at the last place you saved at. I lost so many hours that I pretty much raged and quit the game until I cooled down and came back. The final boss for this game was hard for me since most of my damage did almost nothing to him. So I pretty much ground until I got better skills and level and beat him with ease. The visuals look ok to me. When I'm playing a game like this I don't expect the visuals to look Triple A-like or anything. You get a bow that you can use for ranged attacks. It's a pretty short game and If you want to get this game wait until there's a sale to get it. I got it for under 4 euros. I give this game a 7 out of 10. So glad to play and finish this game again. I beat it in under a day so that's good. Thanks for reading my review I hope you have a good day.

A little gem that also makes you smile for the dialogues and narrative choices. The progression of the protagonist Kaptivo is beautiful with the stats and equipment. Excellent value for money!

Great game. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Very simple mechanics but remember to save often cause occasionally he gets stuck by a fence.

I missed this little gem back in the Flash games days, but I'm really happy they resurrected and made it available today! Great isometric graphics with 90s vibes and tons of mindless hack n' slashing. Highly recommended!

Riotously funny, hugely sardonic and very knowing hack n slash rpg which knows ALL the tropes and fully embraces them while making a mockery of them at the same time. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll curse the inventory, you'll click one button a lot and everyone will die. Very hard not to love, and it's actually a well made, fun and playable game to boot! Only caveat is be warned it's a flash game with all the compatibility and usability that comes with that, and it might freeze or crash fairly regularly. But, eh, in the intro you are warned to save often - heed that warning!

It's a fun game, but horribly balanced, and there is also no map, so you will get lost.
