This is a fun game of almost like racket ball, but with a gun and in VR.

It's arkanoid but in VR. It ticks a lot of boxes, but has fatal flaws.
There are bricks. You hit them with your ball. You hit the ball with your gun, and you have a way of dragging the ball to kind of where you want to move it. If you miss the ball you are rekt.
As a game it has all the most essential features: a scoreboard, a scoring system which rewards precise play, a reasonable progression that encourages you to keep playing, and enough of a skill ceiling that you don't feel completely shut out of competition on the leaderboards for that reason. If you're casually playing this game, then that's really all you need. It even has all of the various things that a competitive player would love: daily and seasonal challenges and global leaderboards. To be blunt, it's clearly marketed at a certain group of people who look a lot like me.
The scoring system is extremely good. Every brick you break gives you a set number of points. However, every brick releases a multiplier, which you need to collect with your ball before it disappears. Hitting the ball gives you the multiplier the ball's collected, and it fills a gauge which gives you more balls. Each ball in play multiplies your multiplier, and you can have up to 4 balls in play. Because there's a set number of bricks on the board, a serious player is going to try to hit as few blocks as possible in one shot while collecting as much multiplier as he can - this is how you maximize your score. There's a lot of thought that you have to put into trying to do this, and it's quite enjoyable.
However, there is also a powerup system: some bricks attach powerups to your ball, which impact how you play. These range in usefulness from the excellent "putting all the multiplier on the board on one ball," to the mediocre "making your ball pierce through bricks," to the absolutely abhorrent "putting a bouncy wall around all the bricks for your balls to bounce off of." The first unambiguously helps, the second is situational, and the last just completely destroys the run because you break a lot of the bricks without collecting the multiplier. The powerups seem to be randomized, which functionally randomizes your score. There doesn't seem to be a way to selectively avoid powerups, so the end result is that you can have a good run ended by picking up a bad powerup. It's extremely disappointing, because the game is otherwise pretty good.
This is an example of a well-crafted game with a single severe flaw that hurts it badly. It's very sad.

I like playing this game, it's not as easy as it looks if you don't collect at least two stars after completing a level eventually you won't be able to unlock more levels until you go back and get a better score on previous levels you've already done, simple fun and very nostalgic, great in virtual reality you can check out game play here on my you tube channel, https://youtu.be/ceC6LwTAJdM?list=PLeMYsOKUIVw2fReOYGwINxdLsRlh032Hk
I recommend this game and on sale even more, very fun and could get difficult if you don't finish each level with a high enough score you won't be able to progress.
