Not worth wasting money on.
Positive first - The atmosphere in the cameras is great. Looking for differences and variations is also fun if a little repetitive.
Negatives - Don't get me wrong there is a cool idea underneath it somewhere, but this slice of what could clearly be better is boring. You start off intrigued but quickly loose interest. The idea of reviewing footage is really cool, but it needs consistency. Depth. Game-play variation. 8AM lacks any of that. As a result 8AM feels more like a demo of something the dev must have an idea for.
Also the "security" room atmosphere feels cliche and lacklustre. It might be scarier if you were just a home security guy reviewing the footage or even an investigator.
Again not a bad thing, but not something people should pay for.
Also don't bother with the jump scare button if you do try the game, they're lame. Just mostly loud noises. Would be cool is some of the anomalies in the camera where the scare. i.e scrolling and randomly seeing a face up close to the camera. Wouldn't even need the noise with the neat atmosphere.
Response to Developer:
That's cool that you have a scare like that. My personal favourite differences in the game where the bathroom (I won't be specific to avoid spoiling it for anyone) and the gym room window (that one made me chuckle).
Also I'm glad I didn't offend you, I know sometimes negative reviews can come across as harsh. I really do hope you do something with this idea you have had and I will definitely be checking in on anything you release in the future. It doesn't change my initial review but as I said in that I really do like the idea you have and the atmosphere in camera is great.

So first of all, I absolutely love that the jumpscares are optional. I love the horror genre, but I prefer subtle psychological horror. This game is just that. If you're like me and enjoy a more mild horror experience, I recommend this game.

its a fun game for a bit, but the hours don't make sense, as 1 hour the whole family is murdered and the next they are totally fine. the fact it doesn't also show what you got wrong is irritating.

As one of the ✨4%✨ that finished the game, here's my personal opinion about the game!
1: This game is literally I'm on Observation Duty on easy mode. Most anomalies are very noticeable, however there are small things you can easily miss.
2: It's not super scary. The big red button that activates jumpscares really only gives you some ambience and a little fright, but that's all. The worst of the "scariness" is just the gore. Though, you may not see the gore as much. There's no jumpscares when viewing the cameras other than the people just standing infront of the camera. That's all.
3: It's a really good game for what you're paying for. The graphics are amazing.
That's all I think about. A scale of 1-10? an 8 most likely. It gets repetitive, not super scary, and I wish there were more events.
