Interesting concept, gorgeous art, cool jokes and references. BUT literally no content to justify it being paid game, for this cost. Some "raising" simulators with more content cost less than this, and let's not speak about some similar free h-games. Basically, you are bound by one line of quests (depending on heroine's true nature), which later requires to do something risky or unusual to strive from "all stats are good" state. For example, to ignore cleaning to get cockroach killed (and make her react to this), listening complains and ignoring pleas to clean place in process. This is not good gamedesign. For comparison, there is mountain place, park, hospital, police station, few shops... But you literally can't do anything in most of these places until you are told by game to do so. You could even "clean" mountain area by day 2 and get few clues, which hardly go into play of "learning her nature". Check library for symbols of summoning circle? Check news to learn about asteroids falling in vicinity? Finding place locked by police due to some mysterious murder and find hints there? Nope. All you could do, for most time - visit shops and buy/sell stuff in room to try out everything in hopes it will trigger some additional scene. Next day. With Save/Load system it's VERY easy due to abuse of savefile, even on hard difficulty (which allows saving, that's it). You change her stats by buying items and finishing/ignoring her little requests. That's all. If girl were to have more themes to speak at current moment - game could have been better. If player could have do more stuff in any location outside of home, including mountain and shops - game could have been better. Damn, if game were to have some R-rated content (which dev refuses to add) or, at least, something more erotic - maybe game were to get more sales and attention from players, who were to point out more problems with this game. However, now it's just random generator with few minigames which asks you to try all available options (which are same for each run, basically) and then risk your peaceful and lovely relationship with weird girl in hopes to learn more about her. Instead of, like, you know, DOING some research or something actually cool, like trying to steal case file from police, do some detective work at hospital, etc. It's just not fun game.

The premise is straightforward: You take care of an unknown, seemingly amnestic girl whom you stop from committing suicide. Depending on her attitude towards you, the living conditions in your apartment or her stress levels, she may try to take her life again. The game revolves around you trying to discover her background while keeping her from harming herself. You do this by buying food and books for her, purchasing furniture for your room, interacting with her either by talking about what she is currently doing or playing a console game with her. The world map has several locations, though most serve only their purpose in few specific routes – your trips will mainly be to the convenience store, the pawn shop and the aquarium. You enter a route by choosing specific options in the context menu (such as selecting 'investigate' at the police department), exploring the mountain, purchasing a specific piece of furniture or a set of furniture, having her stats above a certain level or a combination of the above. Now, some routes can be obvious in regards what to do next, as they disable interactions that were previously available (like at the aforementioned police department), or explicitly tell you what you should do next. Others, on the other hand, might require a little bit of experimentation to reach and complete. The game has around 20 endings. Completing at least one unlocks NG+ options that can either increase the difficulty or make the game easier. This also adds the credit CG for that ending to the gallery. The gallery also serves the purpose of giving a hint on how to reach each ending. However, as I already mentioned, some routes are not as straightforward as others, and the hint may not be enough to reach an ending. One of my gripes is that the locations on the map feel underused. There are locations like the park or the creek, but they serve no purpose except in an ending or two. Why can’t we go on a picnic, or take a hike to the top of the mountain? Options like these would make the game feel more open. I really enjoy the visuals and the style this game went with. The music, while simple, complements the overall PC-98 aesthetic that the game aims to emulate. Each ending that I reached was interesting, though it was obvious that some had more effort put into them than others.
