Peak puzzle design, and I love the way the levels are laid out - so much creativity here!

This is huge recommend. The penguins were what caught my eye, but this game would still be amazing if it were plain boxes. There is so much to learn, and it's all very creative. The puzzles are challenging, but none have felt too difficult. I will be going for 100%.

This is Sokoban meets Supaplex meets Penguin. Discovering the interactions of the different characters is so much fun! Reminds me of English Country Tune but with Penguin. Puzzle Design is outstanding and with Penguin. Love Penguin, Love This!

This innocent looking game is full of surprises. I'm only 6 hours in and have only scraped the surface. The puzzles in puzzles feature is very cool, and I can see how it is becoming deeper than just a fancy level select. The bigger world puzzles are a nice change in pace, and they always seem to use what I had just learned in the smaller ones. The individual puzzles pack so many ideas in them without being overwhelming. They are actually all so small and minimal, but still managing to be difficult. The difficulty is also very rewarding because it is entirely driven by logic, and not by brute force. I can reason through most puzzles without even making a move. On top of all this, the game is full of accessibility and quality of life features. All signs point to this becoming my favorite puzzle game.

Great puzzle game, comparable to Bean and Nothingness

I played through about 30 levels so far. The level design is excellent in this game, graphics are cute, and the game makes really good use of a small number of game elements. I'm not sure I'll make it to the end but it feels like there is lots more to discover. I found some of the levels were a little too hard, even pretty early in the game. The hint system works just fine, but I think I would have preferred an optional build up through simpler (optional?) levels and a bit more filler content to become familiar with the mechanics.

This is a clever, well-made puzzle game that impressed me right from the start with elegant levels and good design choices. I'm only a small fraction of the way through and I've already easily got my money's worth. If you like puzzles, play it.

if gentoo rescue is so good why isn't there a gen one rescue Anyway, very good puzzle game that made me shake my head and go 'no f***ing way' and 'now that's nasty work' (positive) multiple times. The level design is compact, the mechanics are very dense in interesting ideas, and the game has at least 20-30 hours or so of content that never gets old and is fun the entire way through, even if you're a puzzle veteran (think Baba, Sausage Roll, etc.). It's great stuff :)

Wow, this game is incredible. Absolutely everything about it is delightful from the very beginning. I want to see how much of this can be my muse for my next puzzle game.

Rescuing the penguin ended up being harder than expected. Worth it though, I just couldn't leave him hanging. Took me 20 hours to do the main puzzle solving path, though your mileage might vary. Puzzle mechanics are really in-depth, and you're constantly discovering new ways things can interact with each other. It's also similar to Recursed and Cocoon where levels branch out into worlds, and subworlds, and sub-subworlds which can affect each other late game. Overall very tight puzzle design, you will not be given many freebies. Can't recommend it enough.
